Must of them don't even play... Tretter, Randall, Higgins, Schobert... those are the only ones that really stand out. Hunt maybe according to what happens this year. Does his suspension play in at all? The bolded are the two they almost certainly do what they can to resign.

I think they get $ exception (during the suspension), but that won't impact FA status next year.

If you don't like most, then it's probably a good thing. Don't want to be rid for guys developing, or solid depth though. Cheap, but good depth, is important.

There's some solid depth there... but that doesn't cost much to retain. Tretter will be the big one to watch. I think they are working on Randall right now.

Some are thinking Pittsburgh might take Rock-Ya Sin at 20. Not sure how I feel about that.

The recent mock drafts from guys who may have contacts (Peter King, Daniel Jeremiah, Albert Breer) all have the Steelers picking Rock-Ya Sin and Dave-Te Thomas has literally said it’s already been decided. If they stay at 20 and pick him I’ll be very disappointed.

I really hope it’s just a smokescreen.

Tillery should absolutely be a late 1st round pick. He's Chris Jones, but more athletic. Plus he has some flexibility, dude could be a 3-4 DE, 2 Gap, penetrating 3 technique, could play some nose or possibly even strongside DE in the right package.

walter football has tillery to falcons at 45 (yesterday had him at 25 to Eagles. They think he could go as early as 21 to Seahawks.

Boykin @ 66 to Steelers
Love @ 68 to Jets
Dex @ 87 to Bears (please make this happen)

I would be surprised if Boykin goes before Love. Not shocked, but surprised. Interesting mock.

I think Boykin will probably go third round but I wouldn’t be surprised if he went before Love in the second. He had a good year at ND and had a phenomenal offseason of workouts. Teams will fall in love with his size and athleticism (although he didn’t play to his testing numbers).

I think the Steelers are a good guess where he ends up since they brought him in for a workout and Colbert went to ND’s proday. I think early in the third if it’s the Steelers picking him.

They interviewed Tillery on NBCSports this AM. He was on NFL.com yesterday morning.

In short JT said
-His priority is FB
-He's ahead of schedule on rehab
-Talked about going against Q and Big Mike, and how that raised the level of play
-Talked about his other interests, and traveling
-Overall he was very professional. Maybe too smart and too professional lol

The host comments post interview today
-Said people who were worried about his "other interests" were stupid
-Said people will talk and be critical that he's in Hawaii for the draft (Hawaii is like his second home, and he's rehabbing there - showed rehab footage yesterday).

Hope the Colts get him at 26

So I live in Franklin TN. and am meeting a ton of out of state draft fans today. Just talked to a couple of guys from Detroit. They are hoping the Lions trade back from 8.

I'm not wild about Tillery to the Colts. Most are worried about his motor. Let's hope he's not Taco Charlton.

I’ve always been curious how/why a young man from Shreveport, La., spends so much time in Hawaii (I recall reading he was there when they had that nuclear attack false alarm a couple years ago, too). But Terry Jillery is a Man of the World. Will miss that one, and always be rooting for him.

I hope the draft comes to Detroit one day. They are trying hard to bring it. Has to be pretty neat, enjoy the experience!

I could see the Lions doing that. Unless they really like Hockenson and want to keep him from the Packers at 12.

The Packers have 10 draft picks this year, that's a lot of capital. I hope for once, they stand pat, and use their picks. They trade down so frequently to gain more capital, but the Rodgers window is closing.

Time to get aggressive and find some nice pieces. The future is now.

Love that area. Used to travel there weekly in the mid 90s.

JT is no Taco lol

At this point it should rotate like the MLB All Star game... most every city with the facilities to pull it off should get their chance to host... my thoughts.

Packers are the Halos of football... they have one all world talent surrounded by one of the worst rosters in the sport.

i think most NFL cities could pull it off easily. i'd rather the worst team in the league get it. hell, your guys would have held the record.

just read that they may move the draft indoors due to weather. that would suck if you're out chugging beers in the street right now and have to haul it somewhere a mile or so away.

Yeah I think so too... but my comparison to the All Star game sank in... Oakland cannot host an All Star game...lol

Stop this nonsense! The NFL draft scene has become an absolute comical joke. Bring it back to Radio City Music Hall and have it no place else ever again. It was classy then. Now it's like Michigan fans at Walmart.

Yep. You don't get much sympathy being a Packers fan (especially surrounded by Bears fans on this forum), but it is extremely frustrating when the front office has a franchise QB for over almost three decades, and you have only 3 SB appearances and two rings to show for it.

Thompson was way too complacent as GM. He thought he had a foolproof formula as a draft guru and tried to avoid paying his vets on their second contracts and could replace the with rookies. This roster has bled slowly every year since the SB XLV.

Brian Gutekunst seems much more aggressive. Just hope he shows that this year in the draft and doesn't trade down. ENOUGH. I want studs.
