Agree, A&M appears to have settled back to their normal level after Johnny boy gave them false hope.

Would make perfect sense if Chavis wasn't the DC and the LB coach at A&M. Guy is a proven commodity. Whereas BVG and Elston, are not.

He's committing at the UA game so if he doesn't visit in the next week (roughly), this becomes that much closer to one for the good guys.

so in doing nothing at work, i was reading Texas A&m boards...according to what they are saying is that he is pushing his announcement back and will be a NSD decision which they believe is good for them...they are hoping for him to unofficial for this weekend and official after dead period to hopefully get a solid chance before he commits....HOWEVER there seems to be some conflicting reports by 247 and other boards regarding info...also Jeff hasn't responded yet to confirm anything...the ONLY concrete thing is that he is NOT OFFICIALING this weekend

Yeah, that sounds like a whole lot of wishful thinking. If he cancelled his official, there is no amount of spin in the world the suggests "good news."
