If they were going to have a country star come to GD in South Bend, why not talk to Garth Brooks? At least he's playing at ND, could have been like a cross promotional deal. Luke makes no sense.

A source of mine who coached with a former Michigan coach said he told him Harbitch is a crazy as he acts. Wears cleats in the office all day everyday. He also said he will randomly take over play calling even though he didn’t sit in the game planning meeting and fvck everything up. He would call both run and pass plays from formations they didn’t even practice. On 3rd and long he would put it back on the offensive coaches to come up with something after he put them in a terrible situation then get pissed when they have to punt. Again, he said he is really bat shit crazy.

Why isn't this front page news? What happened at Stanford then? Luck didn't pull a Manning and run the offense himself..

Ugh. Luke is bad.

First of all, country music has sucked for the better part of the last 20 years.

Secondly, what in the flying f*ck does Luke Bryan have to do with Notre Dame football???

Dude I don't know what panet your living on but girls/woman, love LB. Ratings!!! I could care less and mostly listen to talk radio but what I've heard Isn't an earache like some.

Did anyone else realize that Har-boner hasn't named an Offensive Coordinator? It's a collaboration among the offensive coaches.

https://www.freep.com/story/sports/college/university-michigan/wolverines/2018/07/24/michigan-footballs-jim-harbaugh-hasnt-named-oc-likely-wont/822893002/

This year? No idea.

Last year? Drevno and Pep Hamilton offered suggestions to Harbaugh, but he had ultimate authority on the play call.

It seems like it's going to be a clusterfuck. That article is from July, so I have to believe that Harbaugh has some more boundaries for who has play-call input. But still, that seems like a potential trainwreck to not have one person calling the shots.

I know, second hand, from a guy who knows Drevno personally. Harbaugh calls the shots.

Wait...maybe Luke Bryan is a slap in the face to ND knowing that NBC is covering the game and Garth is coming to play later this fall.

It is 1:40 AM in God's time zone on Friday, the 31st of August in the year of our Lord 2018, and Michigan....sucks.

Yep, still suck. Time for a W!

Win or lose, I still think this team has a lot in front of them. Go Irish!

It's a great day to work from home ahead of Labor Day weekend, and an even better day to say:

So how quick does this turn meltdown mode if Shea comes out slinging and running all over the field?

Michigan week 1 after the lay off.. Just wrap me up and leave a wick because I’m ready to explode.

This has been the longest offseason for me as my wife and I had twin boys last year to add to our two other boys. A crazy year but it’s fun raising the future of ND football 😉

Does the rain help or hurt ND's chances? I'm torn.

I think it helps. It decreases Patterson and his receivers chances of consistently hitting plays in the passing game, whereas Wimbush is an unknown in that regard either way.

The less likely it is that we see a track meet, the more likely it is that ND wins IMO. And rain can prevent a track meet.

ESPN is really starting to drive the Michigan/Harbaugh/Patterson hype train now.

One thing I really hope I don't want to see from Lea and the defense is soft man coverage. No one is going to run away from Pride, so why play him so far off the ball? It has never made any sense to me to give the receiver a 10 yard cushion when they only need 6 yards for a first down. You guys have the horses and the talent to play aggressive in the secondary, so please do it.

I think it hurts us.

Rain let's WRs get more separation, and they're the team expecting to sling the ball better.

But I don't expect rain to win or lose this game for anyone, unless there's a big play because of a slip and fall.
