Jones and Day in this game only impressed me more than Nix and Tuitt from last year.

If they keep that effort up and we get Ishaq back, DDDDD BOYZZZ!

Michigan's interior OL sucks, but still they must be applauded for absolutely dominating them all game. Cage/Utupo were pretty solid spelling them too and at least giving quality reps.

Yeah, bearing in mind that Nix and Tuitt were limited by injuries at times last year, that's arguably a fair statement. Jones and Day were both outstanding. I was absolutely delighted with both.

Speaking of injuries last year, I did not realize how limited Day was by his ankle injury last year. He looked twice as fast this year. He and Jaylon have a nice little competition going for best player on our D.

Utupo has looked solid so far. He has a few TFLs already. Very good keep for a 5th year senior so far.

Here is a short clip of the team getting pumped before warm ups. It gave me goose bumps

So since Michigan sucks and their coach will be fired, any recruits we'd have interest in taking off of their hands?

Read some of the posts on MGOBLOG. The most fitting is below

It's year 4 We hired a great guy who wasnt our first choice who everyone loves who fails to develop talent we hired Tyrone Willingham

I'm not sure that's quite fair. Willingham couldn't ever recruit like Hoke. I guess that makes Hoke even worse at player development than Willingham.

Now, now, now, lets not be hasty. Even though we're not playing Michigan anymore, Hoke is a treasure that should be cherished ala Kiffin. Let's not be so quick to judge his horrible seasons and watch him get pushed out the door. I encourage Michigan to hold onto him as long as possible! For every loss Michigan amasses, that's one more step away from them when it comes to winning percentage.

BTW, I was just perusing Wikipedia and the list of NCAA teams by wins. Someone thought it would be cute before the Michigan game to list Michigan as being tied with us in percentage. It has been corrected.

Hoke is worse at player development but at least he's keeping the roster stocked. Willingham nearly did a decade of damage with his failed recruiting. Weis had to begin the rebuilding process but was poor at development. Kelly came in and built the house on Weis' partially completed foundation.

The next person to take the Michigan job won't have nearly as hard of a time making them competitive.

Kelly is a football saint for taking our charity case.

Bump to remind everyone that someone's great Grandpa sat Rackem down by his pant line.

Am I the only one still laughing about this?

UGH. ESPN had us tied going into the game. They only rounded it to the hundredth i believe.

What Rackem didn't tell us was that Grandpa found him in the parking lot later...

They had graphics all week showing a tied percentage, but I think they noted that ND was actually ahead by a small margin every time they showed it.

Michigan Football: Wolverines Fan “Paul” Goes on Crazy - Lost Lettermen

Michigan’s 31-0 loss to Notre Dame on Saturday wasn’t easy for Wolverine fans to stomach, especially an individual named Paul.

Paul called into Ann Arbor radio station WTKA after the loss and unleashed this epic, WWE-style rant:

“Yeah, this is Paul. [Inaudible] I’m headed back home. I just gotta tell you right now: That is absolutely a joke. I heard one of your sponsors: [Inaudible] burritos. Brady Hoke can grab some burritos and get the heck out of town. You got to be kidding me.

I mean here’s the deal: Devin Gardner’s got a defensive lineman number (#98), get him on the defensive line! Let’s get a quarterback in there that knows how to throw and throw to our team!

Let’s get (basketball head coach) John Beilein coaching both teams, Crisler Arena and the Big House are right next to each other. Let’s get John Beilein, Jon Horford - let’s get all those guys - Mitch McGary; I don’t care how many trees he smokes, he can score touchdowns, then get him on the field!

The Maize and Blue need to [inaudible] in a big way. You know what I’m talking about, Ira! This is a joke! I’m in Toledo, Ohio, enemy territory, we need some Ws!

What is Michigan about? Engineering? Forget engineering! Let’s win football!!!!”

Paul might need to be admitted to a mental hospital if Michigan loses to Miami (Ohio) on Saturday.

Did anyone else get to visit Tommy's tailgate in the library lot? Standup dude. Not sure if he's going to get into coaching though. Sincerely wish he would do that, as I think that's where is talents are, but I got the vibe he wasn't particularly interested.
