This is going to be an unpopular choice probably, but I'm kind of sad this series is going away. The only thing better than a win against Michigan is a win against USC, and likewise a loss stings a bit more. I think it's good for college football though, and even when Michigan has been down like we have been they still have a huge national following, like it or not. I would much rather drop Purdue personally. It may be a good rivalry, but I would say it's not any shock if I say Purdue needs us more than we need them.

Rutgers could make some noise but Sparty doesn't have a prayer? You had a decent post up until that point.

I'm with you. I love playing them every year. It's a really big game, that I'm going to miss. However, I am looking forward to playing the best the ACC has to offer.

I'll tell you what our team isn't going to need any extra motivation to come into the Big House and stomp the Wolverines thi s year. And you better believe if we're up we're going to run up the score.

Playtime is over with state. Just look at the way recruiting is going. Hoke owns this state, he flipped two of their guys to commit here (who both had ohio offers, one who flipped from ohio to Michigan).

I think Dantonio is a better coach than Hoke. And frankly "playtime" with State is still on until you can reel off 4 or 5 straight on them. You beat them 12-10 last year. Ease up on the gas Andretti.

Greg Mattison is holding michigan together. If he bolts for the NFL, grab some popcorn because the wheels are going to fall off that wagon in a heartbeat.

This. Mattison = great coach/recruiter... no idea why he left NFL unless Michigan threw truckloads of $ at him.

Per WTKA, MMB director said they are going to play the chicken dance song at some point during the game in September.

Not the first time the MMB has done something of this nature. They played Old McDonald Had a Farm when state players were leaving the field in a blowout loss to Michigan in 1947, then on top of that, they walked in their visitors locker room that was flooded with toilet water.

Time for John Kryk to add a new chapter to the book.

I think Michigan fans should worry about Devin Gardner passing the ball and looking for Vincent Smith's helmet. He is going to need that this year.

What would be really funny is if the ND band would play "Meet The Flintstones" shortly thereafter.

Heard that ND was going to were a "0" sticker on the back of the helmet to honor how many national championships Bo won.

Okay Gary Moeller. That's what he suggested when Michigan went 5-0-1 against ohio in the 90s. I miss good ol' Cooper. 10-2-1 was the most fun I had in a long time.

The only dominance they had was when the village idiot was coaching here for those 3 agonizing years. Lloyd vs vest were all close games save 2004 which still makes me scratch my head to this day.

Rivalries have trends. Look no further than yourselves. You had the little streak from 1987-1990 that made me want to blow my brains out and then Michigan returned the favor from 2006-2011 taking 5 of 6.

If anything, the B1G is going back to the trend of old with the Big 2 and Little 10....or in this case the Big 2 and little 12.

Playtime is over with state. Just look at the way recruiting is going. Hoke owns this state, he flipped two of their guys to commit here (who both had ohio offers, one who flipped from ohio to Michigan).

And with that meat grinder of a division coming next year? state doesn't have a prayer. Peds State is barely suffering from the NCAA sanctions, Michigan is Michigan, ohio has urbz and Rutgers is not that bad of a team. They could possibly do some damage in this crap conference.

More delusional thinking. So many Wolverines, so little logic.

No offense to 1997, but most "Michigan Men" I see posting around the interwebs are pieces of ****.*

*Or at least their internet persona is a real ignorant ***-hole.

Like the one the Irish hired under the last coaching regime?

Honestly, who cares about Michigan? Other that they do their part to make this area more "recruit worthy?" I offered to take a U of M fan to the game in Ann Arbor this year, and he declined, instead inviting me to his house to watch the game, because he cannot stand the drunken, stupid U of M fans that come out of the woodwork for night games.

Here is the bottom line. If ND continues to grow it's program, playing any Big10 team is a liability, unless they are on a greater trajectory. If ND declines, it still doesn't matter.

A notre dame fan calling someone delusional. That is classic.

Returning to glory since 1989.

5 of the last 7 with two blowout Ws feels pretty damn good. Another W for Michigan shall come this season in the series.

Awaiting ban....3....2...1...
Bye.....

Go look at your trophy case and look at that 1/2 a title in the last 50 years...

Guys leave him alone. Let him enjoy his smack talk while it lasts. After this season, not only will ND have another win against scUM, but we will have the Winning Percentage title back as well.
