Yeah, credibility problem when you say Golson will be a true sophomore and was one bad play away from being replaced by Tommy "Reece". Apparently Myrtle Beach has been moved to California too. I stopped reading there.

We are still months away from the start of the college football season & I’m already pumped for it. This year should prove to be even more exciting than last year & without a doubt we have a cast of elite college football quarterbacks that should make this year explosive. I wanted to profile some of those quarterbacks & other skill players that I believe will excel in 2013. I started with Stephen Morris, quarterback from Miami, then Louis Nix, nose tackle from Notre Dame, now I continue with who I believe is the best sophomore quarterback in college football, Everett Golson.

Everett Golson is a 6’1 true sophomore out of Myrtle Beach California, Golson was a kid I kept my eye on last year & I watched him mature as the season progressed. During his freshman year Golson faced constant adversity knowing one bad decision could land him in the bench in favor of backup quarterback Tommy Reece. This adversity in my opinion helped Golson to mature quickly during the season & allowed him to take control of the quarterback position for the Irish. After being pulled in the Michigan game, where he went 3 for 8 with 2 early turnovers, it seemed like the light went off in Golson’s head.

That kind of light going off sounds painful! I mean was it dark in there? Of course, that is not nearly as painful as this clichéd writer taking his eye out of the socket and placing it on top of Everett Golson; (that is how he mysteriously got to 6'1" tall.) No one edited this, the comma was missing before California, after Myrtle Beach, even though it should have been South Carolina.

I did like the Big Lou article but that may be combination of confirmation bias and no sh!t Sherlock. After reading the Golson piece I have to say I don't trust that author to know sh!t from Shinola.

Why? Not a big mistake both states end in an "A".

1. Louis Nix III, junior, Notre Dame

Nix is that rare defensive tackle with the size to operate as a two-gap, zero-tech nose tackle in a 3-4, but the quickness to be a 3-technique penetrator in a 4-3. He has a great first step off the snap for any D-tackle, much less one at his size, and if he gets his arm through he can clear blocks quickly and get after the quarterback. That said, when blockers get their hands on him (and he will soak up double teams) he could use his hands better and not simply be content to push the blocker into the backfield.

But that's not an awful downside. Nix is probably better when he's certain it's a pass; he just gets more of a burst. Against the run, he's good but could be more disruptive. A good player now, he has a chance to be a great one.

kiper's top DT for this draft

I don't "speak" twitter so this is pretty much lost on me.

Then again, I'm an old fart and stopped evolving when I hit 40 twenty years ago.

Please be patient with me.

Hmmmm..... a porn star working in Los Angeles who is a "USC fan" messing with football players on Twitter? She has also "contacted" some highly rated 2013 DT recruit, and who knows how many others?

Recruiting violation? "Promises"? Past "relationship" with the football team members? Known to members of coaching staff and others in athletic department? Participant in certain recruit visit "entertainment"?

............. certain thoughts cross one's mind.

If mods think that all the posts involving this person should be transferred to the USC recruiting thread, that might make sense.

I'm going to have to do some "internet investigations" and make sure this porn star is real. Can't have another scandal on our hands, can we boys? :)

Buster: you won't be disappointed even at the full-clothes photos you can see without going for the [to me] ugly stuff. She IS a knockout.

You guys crack me up! I love the two of you.

I got to tell you when I got up, if I would have spent an hour figuring what would be the least likely thing to happen on IE, I wouldn't have gotten close to OldManMike and Buster comparing notes on a porn star's looks!

The question is, which has sucked more, the porn star or Kiffin's coaching career.

Every time I see a bump I assume transfer, injury, or other craziness.

Thanks for posting, ED; this article had good content, but the writing! Bleacher report has nothing on the editorial staff at SI apparently:

The massive nose tackle had a breakout season for the Irish and was a disruptive force this past season, creating opportunities for opponents. Nix has remarkable athleticism for a player his size and is able to create havoc for opponents in the middle of the defensive line, both as a clogging run defender but also one that can collapse the pocket and rush the passer.

I noticed that too. Also the repetition of the word "season" in the second sentence of the article indicates this was a first draft.

Since Isis Taylor started repping USC on Twitter, other porn stars have felt compelled to do the same. Emily Austin is apparently a ND fan, and she's been tweeting at Nix:
