I have flashbacks of Tate Forcier going ham on us as a true frosh. I trust no one.
It's not like Jon Tenuta would let another freshman make a mockery of his defense.
Oh, wait...

Anyone know anybody looking to sell reasonably priced tickets to the game? I've looked everywhere, and they're ridiculous! Lowest I've seen is $265 for nosebleeds.
Nope sorry. My source is even having trouble with getting my tickets. Besides, GK will remind you that he already called dibs. If you wanna go, you may just need to bite the bullet on this one.
I saw some clips from the Texas practice yesterday. They were way better than the clips from Culver. We're fucked

How so? They looked really good, are ready to throw the kitchen sink at our defense, or both?
I think he was being sarcastic, just forgot italics
fudge it lets throw the whole season away now cause they have better clips
What a bunch of Debbie Downers, this is a team we roflstomped last year with a new freshman qb. We will be fine.
Not sure if serious. What one team does one year can be infinitely different than what they do the next year. Look at the USC game in 2014 and 2015, two totally different scenarios...2014 we got absolutely destroyed, 2015 we threatened to pull away outselves in the 1st and nearly went up 28 to 10 before the Hunter fumble at the goal line. Not saying we're getting creamed, but this Texas team should be improved from last year. I expect the score will be closer this time around, and they have every chance to win or at least make it interesting based on facts like they're more experienced than they were previously, we've lost a lot of players, they're at home this time, and they're going to be presenting a different offense that we won't have film on.
Yes I was serious. I hope they are improved from last year. We will handle them easily. They are still to young in to many places, to add that much of a threat in my eyes.
You don't have to agree with me that's just how I feel.
People forget that we have elite talent on this team. Sure we lost guys, but it's not like we are replacing them with freshmen that have never played. We lose Schmidt, we gain an explosive Nyles Morgan. We lose Day, we give Tillery, who played a bunch and was mentored by Day. That same story goes up and down the roster. We aren't breaking in a a true freshman QB in one of the most high profile games of his career. We have three QB's that Texas would kill for, that's how good we are.
I'm not saying we are a championship team, but we are a hell of a lot better than Texas.
Bleacher Report's panel all agreed it's an Irish W.
Yay, whoop!!!
Agreed. Texas was not a team that should be shut out by Iowa State.I think Texas is much better than they were last year but still not there yet.
