If you just go by our numbers since Book came in I bet we're a lot higher on those offensive lists.
Leave it to Tim Prister to ask about Book lol
I missed that part. How did he ask the question??
I feel like this is the first time we've ever seen a true "Brian Kelly offense" in that BK came here heralded as an offensive whiz but I feel like our defense in his tenure has more consistently been good than our offense. Our offense put up some points in 2014 and then faltered (it was one dimensional with EG in there, no running really to speak of), 2015 was inconsistent, let's not speak of 2016, and last year it put up points in stretches but was completely one dimensional.46.3 points per game with Book.
EDIT: It looks like that would be good for 6th in the country.
None of this is possible without Rees. He kept us afloat as a player, now he's helping steer us to the promise land.

And Book achieved this in only 3 starts, his Att/Comps/%Comp in those 3 games are, 25-34 73.5, 24-33 72.7, 25/34 72.4.
In cleanup against Vandy he was only 3-3, 100%.

whats with the weird start time again?
There is no official reasoning, but the home games that aren't night games are scheduled for 2:30pm, likely as a concession to the donors because of the three 7:30pm kickoffs at home this year.
In exchange for the extra late game(s), the older crowd gets to get home a little earlier after the other games, or at least gets to Chicago for their post-game steak dinner at a reasonable hour.
The above sounds tongue-in-cheek, but it is legitimate lol.

It's true, if a 2:30 game wraps at 5:30-6 and it takes you 2 hours to get back to Chicago that puts you in at 8. With time change, 9 PM. If you want to grab dinner after the game, it gets you in around 10-10:30 PM... that's way better than midnightish if you try to go to Rocco's after the game.
It'd be 7pm with the time change. So just in time to grind down those corns and Metamucil for a night cap.
Oh shit you're right you get an hour back. So wtf? I no longer support this 2:30 nonsense.
Does ND not care about tradition? 3:30 for day games needs to come back
20-25 years ago, I remember the day games starting at like 1 or 1:30. It’s been gradually moving back later.
