Listened to his press conference a bit ago.

Narduzzi " They got some creatures out there, That tiller kid is 6'7", 305, he's a monster, they should probably have a new cartoon named after that guy, ya know you got superman, you got Tillerman, that guy, he's a beast"

If ND takes care of business like it should, I think we'll be able to watch a good chunk of the UGA-LSU (which isn't at night for....reasons?)

Yeah but then you're missing Phil J playing the whole fourth quarter, as well as C'Bo and Jahmir demoralizing Pitt's backup defense.

Too bad our awesome field position is going to make it hard for Dex to get 200 yards in the first half.

Worst... 2:30 games keep you from watching the end of the early games, and the meat of the 3:30 games. Not sure who to blame... At least we'll be able to catch the end of LSU/UGA.

This is a great point. The Vandy game is the only other game that's kicked off at 2:30 so far and I was there. I was annoyed then that I was losing an hour of tailgating; this is also pretty inconvenient.

I also watched it and man it made me like Narduzzi. He came across genuine and funny. I did not picture him being so personable. He had some other good lines too. His opener was something like "Looking forward to a challenge this week, well, as much as you can look forward to facing the number 5 team in the country."

I know alot of it was probably Holtz-esque puffing up the opponent but it was still funny.

Somehow, someway, I bet it's the blue hairs...

Did I read where he has disdain for ND dating back to his Sparty days? Or maybe he’s just a crusty old school defensive coach who hates everything.

Narduzzi is a whiny lil pansy! I believe at one time he accused Kelly and co of stealing his play call signals. He always found something whine about when he played ND, I used to love when his DBs would maul our receivers, getting called for PI and he would would flip out! F that dude, I hope we crush him and his panthers!

Pitt injury

Pitt injury

Sounds like Pitt lost their best defensive player/leading tackler/ captain to a knee injury in practice yesterday. Sourc: ESPNU Radio

Edit:pitt senior LB/team captain Quintin Wirginis sustained a non-contact knee injury in Tuesday’s practice & underwent season-ending surgery Wednesday.

You may have read that.. but in this presser at least, it was quite the opposite. Talked about how he "respects the tradition", is a "Catholic himself, and loves Notre Dame"

Found this about Mack.

From what I read it will be a Friday/Saturday decision.
He has the most yard per catch average, so not sure the QB would have time to get to him anyway with our DL lol.

What are you complaining about? Aren't you the one with your own personal version of BW3? Six TV's in every room and by the pool with DVR's, Roku, Hulu, Netflix and Amazon streaming services? lol

I'd be all for moving games to 1:30 like the olden days NDBoiler mentioned. I'm already to head north at 8:00AM for the night games as it is. I get that bowel movement taken care of early and I'm ready to roll!

Guilty as charged... lol.
I will have two TVs going in my primary watch room, and on throughout the house. This year I've been zeroing in on ND when they play. Not sure if it's because of this year's team story line thus far, the fact I think we're special this year, or I'm just getting old and my eyes and brain can't take all the input lol. Probably a little bit of all.

Or maybe because you're a Notre Dame fan??? lol

My love of CFB has diminished greatly in the last few years (really since the playoff)... so I don't worry about missing parts of other games and such like i would have years ago. I still love ND tho.

While a starter, Sear's loss in production isn't a big deal. Blocking for the QB might be another story.

I've always been a mega ND fan since diapers, but sitting and focusing on regular season games vs non-top 25 teams has been a struggle for me. Not this year. I'm glued to every play, and even rewatch. I think it goes back to believing it's going to be a special year for us. And I've haven't felt this confident since the Holtz years. I just think we're really well rounded.

As to CFB in general, I've actually "sat" and watched more this year than in many years past. I think it goes back to my peaked interest around ND being special, and am interested to see how the other contenders do.

The only sports interest that's faded for me is pro football. Still love, and will watch the Colts, but that's about it. I'll watch the Browns a bit due to their story line, or the Pats if they are losing.. but that's about it.

I know I'll get crucified by this statement, but in 2013 after the national championship game does anyone remember the way BK greeted and looked at Satan? If we have learned that trick of the trade (spying) then IMHO we learned It from one of the all-time greats (according to the talking heads).
I would just love to know the real story behind his (kelly's) disdain after that game. Losing a game on a stage like that and he knew the cameras were on him. Satan did something for the real SCHEmatic advantage and has been since.. cal It insider info If ya will

NBC used to show the Red Army crew signaling in plays every once in a while. They don't really do that anymore, I don't think.
