And on the 6th day Reesus created the Run/Pass Option, and he saw that it was good.

I went back and found Reesus scriptures I wrote from 2013. Here's one:

Book of Irish, Chapter 125

53 Reesus said, “And when you cheer your team, do not be like the Wolverines, for they love to jingle their car keys, throw beer on opposing fans, and sleep with large women. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in STDs. But when you cheer, go into the House that Rockne built, cheer loudly for those that represent the university, and perform many pushups after each touchdown. Then your coach, who sees the replay on NBC, will reward you. And when your band plays, do not allow them to play their Fight Song after every play like Trojans, for they are talentless and bore me to tears. Do not be like them, as Southern Cal is a dumpster fire and their coach is silly.

“This, then, is how you should cheer:"

54 “‘Our coach who art on the sidelines,
hallowed be your assistant, <strike>Diaco</strike> Lea,
your practice come,
your plays be done,
in South Bend as they are on the road.
Give us this win, with our daily beer.
And forgive us our penalties,
as we take the yards from those that cause penalties against us.
And lead us not into temptation with USC Song Girls,
but deliver us from evil Nick Saban.’

What happened to Pride. I don't recall anything serious in the game, or anything about him in the pressers.

Don't know - nobody in the interview clarified why BK was asked on his condition for the Pitt game.

Injury update

Kelly said junior defensive lineman Daelin Hayes, who missed the start against the Hokies with a stinger, should be able to practice in a non-contact contact capacity this week. He is day-to-day and Kelly is hoping to see him return to practice Wednesday and potentially play this weekend.

“He is getting better. He’s got good strength, which is a great sign,” Kelly said. “Generally if there’s weakness associated with that, that could be a longer-term kind of injury. He’s got great strength. Now it’s just a matter of getting that full feeling back in his arm and hand, and he was reporting progress in that regard. We’ll be aggressive in his conditioning with an eye towards thinking that this could resolve any day.”

Kelly also noted Jones Jr. has made major improvements in terms of the health of his ankle, and should not be limited anymore.

“I think this week he should be in a position where he’s not limited by carries or time of the game,” Kelly said of the junior running back.

Kelly also provided an update on the status of Armstrong, who underwent surgery to clean out a left knee infection. Armstrong spent six days in the hospital to help drain the knee.

“He’s up and moving. He’s getting range of motion,” he said. “The draining of that knee now has completed itself in the sense that he now can get into the full rehabilitation of getting that quad strength back. He’ll get the sutures out at the end of the week. Obviously, we’ll get him back into range of motion next week and then see where we go from there.”

Kelly’s final injury update revolved around junior cornerback Troy Pride Jr., who left the field a number of times against the Hokies with a mild ankle sprain.

“Any time you have an ankle sprain with a corner, you know you’re going to be careful with him,” he said. “But we think he’ll be fine for Saturday.”

Book of Irish, Chapter 131

40 Reesus made the QB disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the fans. 41 After he had dismissed them, he went to the Basilica by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, and the boat was already a considerable distance from the Hesburgh Library, buffeted by waves because Tillery was splashing in the reflecting pool.

42 Shortly before dawn Reesus went out to them, walking on the pool. When the disciples saw him walking on the pool, they were terrified. “It’s the ghost of Rockne,” they said, and cried out in fear.

43 But Reesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”

“Coach, if it’s you,” Ian Book replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”

“Come,” he said.

44 Then Book got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Reesus. But when he saw the waves, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Coach, save me!”

45 Immediately Reesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt? This is like one foot of water.”

46 And when they climbed into the boat, Tillery's splashing died down. Then those who were in the boat whispered, saying, “Truly he is the QB Coach of QB Coaches.”

In the second overtime after ND failed to score, Pitt wins with a 33 yard field goal and the Irish quest for the NC is dead.

Man do I remember that. Right when they trotted out the FG team, I'm watching entering the world of despondence and thinking, there goes a shot at the NC and an undefeated season. How quickly I found myself in the state of euphoria! For those not familiar, the state of Euphoria is our 51st state nestled between Maine and the Canadian border. Nobody talks about.

You should get the kiddo something like the below. I buddy of mine had a problem with his kid in the cold, and got something similar... the kid thinks it's the neatest thing since ever.... and he's only allowed to wear it at games to keep the coolness effect.

Shes either gonna like it and not care about being cold, or hate it and use that as an excuse. Plan right now is to layer up hardcore, and bring a blanket.

Ah... it would work for boys lol.
My dad use to play a game with me at games. He'd give me 50 cents or a dollar for each time a certain player scored. Kept me interested, and my mind off the rain/cold. I was a little shit and negotiated for other players, more players, and more money... Fantasy football before fantasy football. But it did work lol.

Kind of weird that this is the most nervous I've been for a game all season. I don't think it's really about Pitt, but it's the reality of ND having the goal of making the playoff well in sight setting in.

I think it's really important that ND comes in focused and jumps on Pitt early and often. This is not a good Pitt squad and ND should utterly destroy them, but my it's just a case of typical BFS kicking in.

Also doesn't help that it's an 11:30 kickoff (here in Cali) and I have a 6 pm shift tonight and have to sleep. I really need ND to do me a solid and destroy them early so I can get as much sleep as I possibly can.

The only worry I have is that, after a big switch at QB (WF), a big time win vs a rival (Stanford), and a big road win in Blacksburg......... they got back home, and got comfortable...... and will come out slow and unfocused....

BUT.... that's not gonna happen. I can't see Book getting comfortable, or unfocused. I can't see Dex not wanting to go yard. I can't imagine our DL not wanting to eat QB.
No sir. Not going to happen today.

Absolutely agree. My nerves come strictly from historical disappointment, which I don't see this team following. Book has been and continues to have to be wary of Wimbush (who won the job initially) and Flexter is running with incentive. Not just that he's taking advantage of the opportunity he received, but he has to keep showing that he deserves carries when Armstrong returns and Jones is 100%.

I think Okwara is going to be the best player out there today. I can't imagine he isn't licking his chops after missing the 2nd half last week. He probably wants to redeem himself.
