Walking through the neighborhood with my one year old during trick-or-treat, stopped at a family friend's house.

He said "I hoped I would see you. Want tickets to the game Saturday?"

Uh, hell yeah. He's got season tickets and can't go up to South Bend this weekend. Best trick-or-treat candy I ever got.

Wow

One game at a time. We need to set the tone early on and coast rest of the way. Win or go home -CFP Polls

Coasting is not an option. ND is #3 because they are crushing good teams. Coast to the finish on Wake or Navy and be prepared for the doubters to pop back up. Long should be shooting for 49 or more and Elko should be shooting for 9 or less.

The people are expecting a juggernaut, that's what they better give them.

Agreed. If we don't continue to demo our opposition, there is a real possibility of being leapfrogged. If MSU, USC, NCSt, etc don't continue winning, our SOS will take a hit.

Must. KO. Everyone.

KO also keeps the starters fresh for Miami. Balis is getting a lot of credit for getting stronger as the season progresses but I think sitting out 25% of snaps thanks to depth and curb stomping second team play deserves some credit too.

Yeah Notre Dame needs to score as much points as possible i don't care how much you are up. If Oklahoma, clemson, Ohio State all win out and Georgia and Bama are both undefeated going into the SEC title game we will be on the outside looking in.

Smythe will need to step it up with no Alize playing.

I don't think we're missing anything with Alize out. I think he should hurry up and get ready, because K Met is one opportunity away from taking his reps. I hope he gets some passes this week.

Honestly, I've been waiting for Cole to get his chance.

It's all about HOW you win going forward. If everyone wins out, Oklahoma, OSU and Clemson will all play much tougher schedules to close. If those teams are all winning by 20+ and the Irish start coasting with 1-3-7 pt wins, the Irish will coast into a NY1 game.

This is not survive and advance, it's destroy to advance.

You don't rush back from a concussion. You go by the book. If he's cleared then he plays.

Woke up from a nightmare this AM. We were down 28-7 late in the third and Wake was driving deep in Irish territory when I was awakened by the neighbor's dog. I am still uneasy...

One more applause for Durham Smythe from me --- scouts are rating him in top 200 players for the draft, and 5th/6th round. They are rating him 6th/7th best TE in nation. He doesn't need to "step it up." Alize, if he was playing, would need to step it up. And I second the comments about our other TEs; they are all pretty good. If CKmet is ready: GO FOR IT! (Maybe that will motivate Mack more.)

High res for cell phone wallpaper (2560x1440). The font and alignment aren't perfect, but it'll do.

You wouldn't happen to have it at a slightly higher res? I just tried to make it my background on my galaxy and it looks good but is a bit fuzzy.

That's just your eyes due to drinking but I won't say that in public, just this private note

Agreed. I think he has been tremendous all season, and I also think last week gave him some things to build off of. That double toe dragging catch on the sideline is still-frame worthy!
