FEI predicts a 16 point Irish victory with an 83% chance of at least winning outright.
The crazy thing to me is that while people love their offense and Dungey their stats are more a product of tempo than efficiency. They're not top 25 in adjusted offense, and Dungey is #52 in QBR. Book, for comparison, is 8th. The reason they put up points is tempo + turnovers + special teams... not a super-skilled, super-potent offense. If this game was at home I'd pick us to win handily.
Syracuse gets a lot of INT's and sacks, so preventing negative plays will be paramount to keeping our distance from them. I'm firmly confident ND will be able to stop them enough times defensively.
I took a look at their numbers though:
Andre Cisco leads Syracuse with 5 INTs on the year. However, all 5 of them came against Western Michigan, Wagner, UConn and Louisville. The latter two rank near the absolute bottom in terms of turnover margin and total giveaways per game and WMU isn't far behind ranking 111th and 98th in those aspects.
Have to watch out for Coleman and Robinson, their DE tandem. They're not good run defenders, but they have been able to get in the backfield quite a bit (though they haven't played an OL as good as this all season minus maybe Clemson).
Looking all this up, I was disappointed to see that Tillery has only had 1 TFL and no sacks in the last 5 games.

Let's say Notre Dame gets a blowout over Syracuse. Not saying that will happen, but in the hypothetical that it does...
...is there any grounds for Clemson being #2 over Notre Dame? Notre Dame would have better SOS, better wins, better performance against their one shared quality opponent, and be undefeated. The only argument I can think of is that Clemson beat Wake and FSU by larger margins.

Since I'm driving during the game, I'm looking into how to listen to the game via radio. My buddies recommended either SiriusXM or an app called TuneIn. Does anybody have any experience using either for ND games?

Pretty sure TuneIn wont work for the game. Black-out type of thing.

I see your point, but does it really matter? The only thing I can think of is who will be called the home team in the playoff. I assume the higher ranked team is considered the home team? The thing I would like about ND being the home team is we could wear the Blue home jersey and not the awful away whites.

Why do tickets always plummet in price when I'm trying to sell but stick at $200 minimum when I'm looking to buy?
