It matters in terms of protecting us from getting bumped to #4 in the "chaos scenarios". I still maintain that there is a 0% chance in any remotely objective system that ND gets left out entirely if undefeated, but being the #4 seed and playing Bama in the first round is a death sentence and stops us from having a chance at a major bowl win.
I've listened a bit on Sirius xm- game was carried on the Catholic station-. What I listened to wasn't bad.
Let's say Notre Dame gets a blowout over Syracuse. Not saying that will happen, but in the hypothetical that it does...
...is there any grounds for Clemson being #2 over Notre Dame? Notre Dame would have better SOS, better wins, better performance against their one shared quality opponent, and be undefeated. The only argument I can think of is that Clemson beat Wake and FSU by larger margins.
I assume Burmeister is not an ND alum like Criqui.
The cursive Notre Dame in the end zones suck.

4-4:45 p.m. — Notre Dame Band concert at Bryant Park featuring special guests Fighting Irish football alumni Corey Robinson and Justin Tuck.
Corey is going to be such a great ambassador for us, for such a long time to come. Love him and his family.
Sooooo
There's zero seats worth the price to get in lol.
I'd be pissed if I were paying for a premium ticket on the "50" yard line, and then got to the stadium and realized I still needed binoculars.
Anyone going to the ND party Friday night at The Public House? Also sounds like The Dugout might be a good spot to go before the game.
The Dugout is a dump but it's one of like 2 bars that are walking distance to the stadium.

Go to Billy’s on River. Dugout is a shithole. Stan’s is a dump too.
Thanks for the advice. A buddy and I are going Friday thru Monday, staying at the Grand Hyatt in Manhattan.
Since I'm driving during the game, I'm looking into how to listen to the game via radio. My buddies recommended either SiriusXM or an app called TuneIn. Does anybody have any experience using either for ND games?
I went to the Pinstripe Bowl between Rutgers and ND in 2013. Sat third base side about the 20 yard line in second deck if I remember correctly. It was a pretty good view. But yeah there are some bad seats no doubt....Sooooo

It's crazy... given where we were two years ago... that now we're at the point of talking about how badly need to blow out the #12 team in the country on a neutral field.
Not "can we get a big win over a highly ranked team?" it's "do we cover the 10 point spread and look good doing it."

Fancy....
Grand Central. Are you planning on taking the Metro North to the Stadium?
