I don't have a big problem with Flutie. I just don't see this massive anti-ND bias that people allege. Sure, he gets in a little dig here and there, but I didn't hear anything ridiculously out of line on his part.

I loved when he whipped off his granny glasses when he figured out he was on film. Frankly I thought Mayock was great and Pat Haden was my favorite and paired up great with Ara. I feel bad for Flutie with his bad shoe polish hair dye "Just for men". Just sad. I cut Flutie some slack because he has a special needs kid and he does a lot for that charity.

Flutie looks like a muppet. He and Tirico were awful last night. I think towards the end of the first half when ND was up 28-0, they were saying that is was SC that was beating themselves. No mention that ND was dominating in all aspects of the game. It was all due to SC mistakes.

And the Darnold circle jerk was really hard to listen to. I thought they were going to hold the Heisman ceremony right there at half time. I don't think you can have 9 total turnovers at this point in the season and be in the award discussion.

Flutie wouldn't be so bad if he could just restrain/contain the excitement in his voice when something bad happens to Notre Dame. Be it a penalty or review, his bias shows through like a window.

Flutie is already bad at color commentary.

He is worse by orders of magnitude when ND plays well. That should tell you everything you need to know... he isn’t ever prepared to offer actual analysis when ND makes a big play. There is some dead air after the score, and then you can hear his brain working as the only thing he can do is repeat what’s happening on the screen without any actual talking points.

What gets me is it really appears that NBC is writing the talking points for them. They show accompaning video and have sideline discussion know exactly where the parents are. It’s like they have a deal with ND but do their best to mock us. WTH?

Flutie sucks, enough with BC grads doing ND games already. Mayock wasn't bad but he had his insufferable moments as well. At least Tirico seemed pretty balanced. Sometimes I'll mute the TV and listen to a radio broadcast on my laptop or cell phone.

What would it take to get Brady Quinn or Aaron Taylor to do ND games? NBC needs to get it through their heads that their contract is for airing ND games and hire accordingly.
