A week off. After reading over some of their posts it didn't seem like productive conversations were going to come of it. They both just kept insulting others.

Correct, IIRC he asked for the ban without much detail. Perhaps he got a promotion or took on anew role and didn't want the temptation, maybe Koon and Haverford were too much for him....

Agree with both. Koon was one of the worst trolls with hot takes and BS. Site is much better without him.

Koon can be too much, and he didn't know when to quit sometimes, but he was the bad guy that every board needs to keep things interesting. If he would have only pulled back a bit more...

FWIW I jokingly offered Lion $50 at the Louisville game last year to ban him and he declined. Should have taken it! Beau did it for nothing shortly after.

Sorry guys, but if you really don't get it, Koon tried to undermine the people that keep this site running, mostly the other mods. He tried to create some weird uprising and after so many strikes before hand we had to get him out. I PERSONALLY gave him sooo many chances. And I have zero hard feelings for him as a person, but he just really tried to make the good posters of this board seem like bad guys on a regular basis and simply just troll. He can't come back. Certainly not without him apologizing for his actions.

The only thing I miss about Koon was when he asked for advice, ignored it and then did whatever he already had in mind. lol
