Koon being gone creates a huge void. We need someone to turn heel now. Like a Hulk Hogan joining the NWO or Shawn Michaels throwing Marty Janetty through a window heel turn.

I have been thinking about staining a deck or remodeling a bathroom. I might be up to ask advice from people with exerpierence only to pretend I know better after watching one episode of this old house. Who is game?

I feel this whole reaction is way overblown. We shouldn’t get emotional one way or or another just because some poster is abolished from this site..... we really need to save those reactions for when a 17 year old kid decides he doesn’t plan to play for our favorite team anymore.

But then again I don’t get online enough to build that internet comradery or relationships...... except with my girlfriend (but don’t ask me about her, you wouldn’t know her, she goes to a different website).

We should start a psychiatry thread. Drop in, spill your emotions on any subject and let all of the resident psychiatrist on IE help get you in a better place.

I think Koon will be missed. I like how he has a different perspective on a bunch of stuff and doesn't care that everyone is going to jump on him. He has been correct (against the stream) about a few things.

He probably had three or four burner accounts established already... probably accounts that interacted with the board every now and again, just so we wouldn't be suspicious once he had to switch to one of them full-time lol

For the record, Whiskey's posts sometimes are way above my head, but he is always respectful. One of my favorite posters actually. Lax on the other hand - another of my favorite poster sums him up like this - "privileged". Which I think is an accurate yet a professional way of going about it.

Again, I could really care either way as it doesn't bother me, but as someone whose product has been people his whole life, I get it.

I'll go out on a limb and say it was aimed at Wooly. Those were the precursors to the Wooly v Koon days.

I am fairly certain Bogs was the main recipient of that post. That was a crazy time on IE.

I may have been negged more than I know but I've noticed 3 since joining and 2 of them were in an exchange w/ the LA guy. I have no idea what it was about but he gave me some condescending response and it was on for a minute. I capped it off with something to the effect: Is that all you're wife (or girlfriend) could come with for you?

Well, apparently his wife had just left him ( I had no idea as I had ZERO interaction in non-recruiting threads 5 years ago, still have very little pre-corona lol) Anyways, he negs me, OMM NEGS ME and tells me to leave the board! and one of the mods gave me a warning.
Oddest thing I remember about that is Loomis PM'd me and told me about his beefs/run-ins with him and that he's a local in South Bend... I thought he lived in LA. Flash forward to a month ago and I posted a tweet about case growth with Corona and loomis negs me for posting false info. I was just passing it along for discussion free from position or agenda.

Anyways, that's the 3 negs i know of. I may have negged Haverford once the IE pitchforks and torches were coming for him. Besides that, I don't think I have.

My one and only infraction was from NDinLA back in 2013 for inappropriate language and he deleted the post saying it was 'seeds of a sick post'. Since it's been deleted we'll never know for sure but I'm pretty sure I called Alex Anzalone a d-bag for how he handled his recruitment, lol. Man, that was a long time ago and it was probably deserved.
