This is all wonderful news but to me there is one down side, out there is a lot of happy scUM fans and nothing make me more sick than happy scUM fans!!!

"This is just getting to be out of hand. IF charges against Hyde and Roby are true just kick them off the freaking team and be done with it. How hard is it to not get arrested when you have the world in your hands? I want to win, but not with a group of men who don't appreciate the opportunity they have. We'll find someone else who wants to play, and stay out of trouble."

I honestly couldn't agree more with the tOSU poster.. his actions have not only hurt him, but have hurt Urban, the football team he represents, and the school he represents.

I saw this too. I'm not real happy about it myself being a Buckeye fan on the side, but I'm just glad it's not Tommy and Carlo again. I imagine Buckeyes are feeling a bit like we were last year, although hitting women is certainly uncalled for. Hyde may not be off the team, and Roby may just get a couple games when all is said and done. No idea the circumstances around Bell for sure. Michigan probably is loving this.

Buckeyes feel they get as much or more attention than we do when these blips hit the media radar. It's probably a decent perception considering they're estimated to have the largest college fan base, makes for a big target like us.

Anyone know what their running back situation is like? I know Hyde was their top guy ... do they have others just as good, or is this a huge blow?

Hyde was their #1 guy obviously but he wasn't really anything special. He was solid but not flashy. I expect Brionte Dunn to be better eventually.

They had a very good freshman last year in Brionte Dunn, but I remember he got into trouble too. Not sure if he is still on the team.

Their best tailback is their quarterback. Having said that, they have a few guys who were fairly highly recruited out of high school. But none of them have lived up to the hype. It could be because they didn't hit a groove, or it could be because they aren't really as talented as the "experts" said that they are. Most likely to pick up the slack are Rod Smith, Brionte Dunn, and incoming Freshman Dontre Wilson.

If Rod Smith can hold onto the ball he's a stud.
Jordan Hall's would have been the starter last year had it not been for a freak injury.
They have solid 4 stars as sophomores and freshmen.
