The article by Mr. Hayes here is is notably short on evidence, math, or anything to justify throwing out just random things but sure! Get a $300 million TV deal from Fox.

Ohio St already gets a crazy check from "Safelite" to put their name all over Ohio Stadium

There problems are far beyond a revenue problem. There's some serious fraud going on in that place.

OSU has been favored in basically every game we've had against them over the last 30 years, they dodged us for most of our dominant eras. Would be nice to catch them with the shoe on the other foot for once, with any luck they're on a small downward turn with Day at the helm. Feels a bit like Stanford with Shaw at the helm after Harbaugh, he kept things rolling for awhile but it declined slowly over time.

We haven't lost in over a year. We haven't lost to a team that we 100% should have beat in two years.

These are the "good old days." Best run of my lifetime that I can actually remember (I'm 43).

I feel incredibly confident that we are going to stomp Sparty (Edit: and everyone else this season and at least make the title game again. I'd say that's a 50/50 proposition to win.)

ND was 0 and 3 in their last 3 games to start last season. These guys aren't done yet. I think they run the table to the playoff.
It's kind of crazy to me how many Oregon and OSU fans have been saying it's over for them this year. Oregon might *actually* be low key ass, but they lost to a non-conference team. Everything is still in front of both programs.

Can someone explain the “Gotcha” of the clip? Unless Life Surge is fraudulent I don’t get it besides just not liking born again, alt right Christian type groups

I saw some OSU is becoming Liberty jokes months ago but am I missing the huge uncovering here? That some players and coaches like something that you may not? I can rattle some ND former players and coaches too

The criticism is that 1) it's part of the wealth-building Christian movement thing, so, ewww, but also 2) the customers are being sold high-cost tickets to financial training seminars, tickets they can't really afford to seminars telling them how to attain wealth they will never attain and all couched in a hyper religious environment. "Jesus wants you to be rich. Give us your money." Like televangelists back in the day, but promising wealth instead of salvation.

I especially love how none of the rich and famous people fronting this bullshit became rich or famous through this. They're all sports personalities.

It's fuckin slimy and every one of those pricks deserve criticism for it.

I mean the explanation is fair and sure my personal beliefs agree 1000% agree with the above, but I thought Pablo like uncovered crimes or things that like rock the industry and need real journalism to uncover. He found the publicly available flyer for the publicly available event? This is hardly some bombshell

I think the thing is folks just see the religious trappings, and that Tebow and these other guys are associated, and automatically think it's on the up and up. What they're doing is not a crime, but maybe a little sunlight on it couldn't hurt, either

Tebow took a step back after Torres brought it into the sports public's consciousness. I think it's good that people understand it's not as pure as the religious veneer would imply.

Sure I guess. I’m not sure he’s getting a second Pulitzer for discovering Herbie leans Christian nationalist. I could have scrolled his twitter lol

Not that USA Today is a repuable news source, but says Tebow is moving away from them as an investigation starts into the org. It does not use the word, but it smells like fraud
