I hate people that "shop" obliviously. They park their cart so that you cannot pass, they walk extremely slowly, or otherwise "shop" so that you cannot get past them. EVERY. FREAKING. DAY.

That, and people that take up two parking spots on purpose, or they're completely out of their lane. There's a whole thread on the Shag dedicated to piss poor parking jobs with pics. I'm going to start carrying a package of zip ties in my car, and if I see these cars parked like that I'm going to zip tie a circle of carts around their car so they can't get out. That, or I'll do the chalk bit to outline how bad of a job they did.

When people don't move after their order is taken. They just stand there and shuffle shit around in their purse and are completely oblivious to the people around them. If your order has been taken GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE WAY!

I see this all the time at convenience stores, especially with women. Lady, I get you have some organization going with your wallet and purse (a place for everything and everything in its place), but move out of the way and find another spot to complete your structured process. There are people behind you that have lives and want to get on with them.

On the SE side of Indy, there is a merge lane going from I-465 to I-74. I drive it everyday and without fail there are always people who wait until the last minute to merge even if there is no traffic to hinder them.

My wife bitching about me buying a snow blower three years ago and only really using it the first year I had it. My driveway is two and half car wide and 100ft. long. After years of shoveling I finally decided my body would appreciate an assist so I bought a snow blower. The first year we had a lot of snow and I used it a lot. Since then the winters have been such that I only had to use it once. Sorry honey, but I don't control the weather. Be patient. It will get used again.

Just as bad, cars or semis that don't move over (when possible) so you can merge on. Especially semi drivers. They always blame the driver of cars for causing their accidents, yet I see them veering from lane to lane or onto the rumble strip all the time.

Opening my electric bill to find it jumped $100 in December, then another $100 in January. The bill was $329. My highest ever was at $290 a few years back when we had a couple of weeks of sub-zero weather. I call IPL to find out what's going on. They start blowing me smoke about the temperatures dropping, ask me what I have the thermostat set at, blah, blah, blah. She mentions there was a rate hike in March of 2016, so I ask why my bills these past eight months track very close to the previous year until this last bill. More blah, blah, blah. I ask her what my rate was before the hike and after. I get put on hold and disconnected after about 15 minutes.

I call back and speak to a different rep who can finally give me details. Our rates jumped 30%! Damn utility regulatory commission approved the hike. Fortunately I can afford it, but I wonder how the less fortunate are going to handle it?

Missed them. Rep told me it was due to them converting from coal to gas as part of the emissions reduction plan. Evidently the URC approved a near 30% increase to pay for the change. That large of an increase should have been phased in.

I posted how I had a Browns jersey stolen off my porch last summer... so we bought a heavy duty mailbox, big, lockable... today I leave for work and the entire box is gone... they took a sledge in the top off the post and removed the main sitting board, mailbox attached...

Every other mailbox on the street was wide open and empty... I figure they're looking for W2s... anyway police office says a number of neighborhoods got hit last night and so far as they can tell (past details and cases) its a group or gang from Los Angeles who just yearly hit up every so cal area they can in rotation... and last night was my neighborhood... not worried about the personal info but my wife's b day is tomorrow and two gifts from family and a Browns cell phone case for me were in the box... fucking degenerates.
