My official stance: if anyone looks at the OP picture and tells me they see blue or black then I put them on my 'lying sack of shit never to be trusted again' list....

To everyone who voted that they see white and gold, do you see it the entire time while looking at the image? Did you only see it for a brief moment?
I stared at it for awhile and it was white and gold the whole time. It wasn't until I looked away then looked back that it became black and blue. I can't see white and gold now no matter how hard I try.To everyone who voted that they see white and gold, do you see it the entire time while looking at the image? I still only see white and gold in that photo, despite having seen the dress' real colors many times.
In THAT picture, its white and gold.... Period.
I'm actually amazed IE has remained so civil through this. My entire Facebook and Twitter feeds were ready to create a war over this.
I thought for sure I was going to have to ban somebody when I saw the thread pop up.
Maybe if Koon were still around, things could've been different...
The thing I don't understand is how people can see golden brown as black? Like, if you're telling me you are seeing the white part as a very pale shade of blue, OK, I can forgive you for that. But don't sit here and try to tell me that the golden brown part of the dress is black.
Is this the Truman show? Are you all in on some elaborate conspiracy to get me to have a mental breakdown? I don't care what lighting it is in or what kind of tricks a brain may be expected to play....there is NO SHOT that there is any black in that dress.
