If they were going to add a visitor, that was the way to do it. Make the visitor shuffle in and out.

The University should reserve all those seats around the visitor tunnel and empty out everyone put in the drunk tank when the visitors walk out.

I volunteer to be "that guy" at all home games. The things I'll yell at them will make them question their decision to play division 1 football.

I always thought Florida was somewhat genius in how they arranged their seating. In the swamp, behind the visitor's bench sits their "young alumni" section. A group of recently wealthy, young, superfans with nothing better to do and no real consequences if they happen to cross a line.

What's up with the turf on some of the roof tops?? It reminds me a bit of the old Solider Field in a way...

Come to think of it, I never heard gradtroll complain about the roof. He couldn't possibly like it, right?

I hope he's on his meds when he watches that vid, otherwise he'll be cutting himself in the TA's room while grading Kinesiology 101 papers.

The vintage program signs for the different sections look great.

But remember that all of the stadium renovations could have been done without grafting huge new buildings onto it.

Does anyone have a detailed breakdown of those green roofs?? I'd love some more info on how that's supposed to work.

Built similar to this likely. They simply reduce heat in urban areas, provide a better view for anyone looking out on the roof, and reduce water run off/build up.

It's the new 36 hole combination chip and put and quidditch facility for the football intolerant. Those who come to ND will see their left and right leaning drives gradually develop along the straight and narrow.

It's also gender neutral and bears the Al Gore seal of approval for mitigating football stadium carbon syndrome.

Ah the Monon Bell game. Where the rich kids who couldn't make the cut into ND go to drunkenly watch their football team lose to Crawfordsville's most culty college, year after year.

Apologies if I'm putting this in the wrong spot. I'm just looking for some advice regarding the new stadium.

My dad, a lifelong Irish fan, is in the late stages of MS. He also shattered his femur a few months ago, which makes walking even more difficult. My brother and I are going to be flying in to surprise him with a trip to the USC game. He's never been to South Bend and this is likely the last year he'll be able to avoid a wheelchair entirely. On good days he can slowly make it around with a cane, but usually he uses a walker.

I haven't been to the stadium since the BYU game in 2012. Does anyone have any advice regarding handicap accessibility? Or advice in general as to how to make this as pleasant as possible given his limitations?

BTW, checking this website has been part of my daily routine for at least a decade. Thanks so much to all of the contributors. Y'all make me feel close to ND even when I'm toughing it out during a hard winter up north.
