I thought it was widely known that he puked at practice - I didn't mean to be confusing.

And I'm not taking a slight at him - if anything it's a compliment. No reason to be dramatic and act like I'm putting him down. It was mere humor.

You tacked it on to the end of a list of guys that are unavailable, as if it were a negative to consider along with the other guys being absent.

Why do that, if not to be dramatic about it?

You are the resident Drama Mama, though, so dumb question I guess.

To try to lighten the mood after a slew of depressing DT facts.

If anyone thought I was picking on Hinish, I wish every single one of our DTs puked in practice because they went so hard.

Nothing to see here, you guys will have to be more creative in pretending there's drama than that!

Hinish can puke all he wants as long as he's the "puke and rally" sort.

I think the Dline will be fine against Temple.
Bigger, stronger, fitter than last year, AND from every single report better coached.
I don't see the rational for the glass half empty Bonner. He is 290 pounds with a very quick first step. He may not have the bull rush, but he will be disruptive, like he has been in Camp. And with Tillery it will all come down to attitude, because he is already there physically.

We are deep at the end position and will be able to rotate quality bodies in, if injuries become a problem.

As I said, I really don't think the Temple O-line is going to have a very enjoyable time on Saturday.

Oh there's no drama from us, I think we've just seen through another [poor] Koon trolling effort lol

To recap, I make a complimentary joke, get accused of being dramatic, get accused of trolling.

Lol @how hard you guys try to paint a picture that isn't there. I appreciate the cleverness and effort!

I had a brother who got so excited pre-practise he vomited everytime. Won TWELVE high school varsity letters (four track, three BBall and Baseball, two football --- starting QB and rover, and Captain.) Love to have seen someone slight him by calling him a puker to his face.

Hinish sounds to me like a major winner with huge willpower to warrior on despite how much challenge he has already met. I'm already a fan.

My apologies. You've never made a backhanded comment about a player so I should have never thought that.

You guys want a hot take? I truly wish all of our DTs puked in practice because they were trying to hard.

Cue it!

Exactly...

What I am most excited for is to see Wimbush handle the pocket and see how he stays in the pocket if he is pressured

I'm actually the opposite. I can't wait to see how dangerous he is truly running the RPO's without the concern of being "tagged" down.

At Memphis, Ferguson (starting QB) was really aggressive with his RPO's. Meaning he would string them out at the LOS, or parallel to it, for an extended period of time. I'm not sure if that was by design or adlib, but I think Wimbush would be incredible in that setting.

Can I just see some sound defense and sure tackling?
This will do a looooooong way to having a successful season. The offense should be fine, as long as the D looks competent I will be very happy.

ISD reporting Micah Drew Treadway will not play this week, as he was banged up in practice last week. Doesn't sound serious, sounds precautionary.

Either way - we have another DT out week 1. That makes Elijay Taylor, MDT, and Cage (quit football). And Hinish is a puker.

So let's see. That makes 3 DTs out for week one and Hinish is a puker.

Obviously you meant that in a positive way. That's how language works, you put together a list of negatives and then tack on one more thing...that's positive.

Our open space tackles not looking like they are being attempted on slip and slides would be a vast improvement...

It's either the worst effort at a joke of all time, or Koon has no understanding of "context," and a tenuous grasp on the English language in general.

Both are equally likely. I'm confounded.

My advice to you would be to take the most dramatic option and run with it.

Pretty sure Zorich puked on a center during a game? I keep telling you Hinish reminds me of Zorich. I think I'm onto something.
