I'm curious, what makes you think so? No one besides Hunter has any experience, and from what I heard during fall camp, general consensus wasn't very good with WRs. Im not worried, but im not incredibly optimistic. Hoping im wrong.
The general consensus is that they weren't very consistent, and that's not good, but there's reason to be optimistic.
Will is a unique talent, a first round pick and not easily replaceable. It's unreasonable to assume Hunter will simply step right in and give you the same production but most are confident he can produce at a very high level.
EQ St Brown is big, fast, talented and he's going to be a bigger threat than Chris Brown if he can put it all together. Brown had 48 catches for 597 yards and 4 TDs. I think they can get more out of EQ or a combination of EQ and Boykin at that position.
Sanders is going to be better than Amir. I think most people reporting agree and think Sanders will have a big year.
Collectively, I think these guys could be good. EQ is really the key to the group. If he plays with some consistency it's going to open up the field for Sanders and Hunter.
The receivers will benefit tremendously if the run game is as good as advertised. It's amazing how open average receivers can get when LBs and safeties bite on play action and when QBs have time to throw the ball.
