I think their defense is fantastic, especially the back seven.

If Notre Dame were an offensive juggernaut, I wouldn't be worried. But I respect Michigan State's ability to keep the game close, and at that point anything can happen.

If they could ever figure out how to pass the ball, they'd challenge for the Big Ten. Fortunately for Notre Dame Bollman is their OC.

I'm watching to replay now. The defense is good, but the WMU offense is also pretty bad. I feel that if W. Michigan had a better O, they could have come close to knocking off Sparty. Let's face it, MSU beat a barely FBS team by less than 2 touchdowns. It's the first game of the season; MSU should have torn their heads off.

Really like that Purdue is between UM and MSU. Nothing against Purdue, but I always felt like MSU benefitted from a physical/emotional letdown following the UM game. Should be 4-0 heading into OU.
