I hate to say this, being from Mayberry and all with some interesting people of our own, but Hammond is not a pretty man....
I'm pretty sure that isn't Flanagan, at least it doesn't look like her to me.
Yeah, but one of many problems I have noticed with him is....
It is literally like a 4 second delay for him to say whether or not ND made a field goal/got a first down/recovered a fumble/scored a TD
And I mean in OBVIOUS situations...
It's ridiculous.
The Al Michaels effect. He did the same even as a FG was already made in the NYJ game today to win it for the Jets.
I don't think it really matters. If you are waiting on someone to TELL you what you know to be true and can see for yourself, then what you need is a better TV, not another announcer.
I guess it just annoys me...
I always think, ok, I SAW IT GO THROUGH, why are you pausing for dramatic effect?!

I decided 3 yrs ago to stop the bad mouthing of this clown. It does no good as NBC obviously wants to be neutral. But last night was of the worst I've had to listen to as they almost seemed disappointed that mich didnt stop the win streak. You'd think that NBC would want to promote positive but its more like when will this end and when will the Irish come back to earth. Even Mayock was seemingly always telling why mich was not getting it done rather than 'boy Notre Dame has them playing really poor football'. I truly believe that Hammond is just following orders. Lets face it to them Notre Dame in turmoil is a much bigger story and more juicy coverage than Notre Dame kicking ***. But last night was the worst yet. Even the sideline reporter goes right to the negative when asking Kelly about the QB situation-there tone and line of questions is a pain in the @$$. Please figure out a way to make it more of a home game atmosphere Mr NBC executive. Oh I forgot, you simply dont want to do that.
He makes Goober look like Matthew Mcconaughey.....

President of NBC Sports has 2 kids at Notre Dame and is himself a huge ND fan, so I'm pretty confident this is not the case
I'm sorry but he just creeps me out
Don and Allen were absolutely horrendous this weekend. Maybe they were out of sink from not being together yet this year. I usually enjoy listening to the games more than I like to watch them, but it was almost unbearable.Bring on Don Criqui ?? Great play by play.
KEEP THE FAITH !!!
GO IRISH !!!
After I rewatched the ND-UM game, I noticed that on a couple of occasions Hammond actually reffered to Densrd Robinson simply as, "Howard"
"Howard with the keeper, picks up 6"
Whether or not he meant Desmond Howard, who knows, it's still **** poor though
Criqui and Pinkett referred to Michigan as MSU for the entire game!!

Mayock also called him Desmond Robinson
Then he's either deaf or doesnt care about his alma mater. No I correct myself he's more involved with his job if he keeps these lame @##$# around.President of NBC Sports has 2 kids at Notre Dame and is himself a huge ND fan, so I'm pretty confident this is not the case
