OK, i took a break from this thread hoping to come back and see some some news. Anyone know when this matter will be resolved? How long will it take? And is it possible we will have the 4 by the first game?

Wizards had the short answer.

Honor Code cases are heard by a panel of faculty and students. It was pointed out that all the students are not yet back on campus. It's also possible that some students on the panel last semester may have graduated. I don't recall anyone here knowing what a quorum is for that panel or whether there are others up to speed on the process that could sit in. I suspect the powers that be addressed that internally prior to the press release.

I would thinl that the players would need to practice tomorrow to get ready for rice so I think there will be at least an announcement about that.

Man forgot all about the Mahone fiasco. We've been through a lot this offseason.

Actually, up until this fiasco, it's been relatively quiet. That was a little unnerving because we didn't know who it was, just that it was a RB, which led a few to assume Bryant or Folston.

Last I checked was Saturday, and all players were dead silent. Phillip's gone silent as well as of his 'truth will out' sort of tweet from last week.

That makes me think the worst but it could also be coach Kelly/organization reaching out and asking all family members to stay mum on the topic until it's completed.

This week will be nerve-wracking. I can't imagine this would require a great amount of deliberation. They should've had all evidence processed and assimilated and ready to be presented to the panel. These 4 should have their fate decided during the first meeting.

Even if there players are cleared this week, I can't see them playing in the game on Saturday. That's two weeks of not practicing.

I would be so pissed if I were one of these players and also innocent. KVR will probably declare after this season regardless of the outcome.

I don't remember what the rule is exactly, but as long as they get a few days of practice they would be clear to play. KVR would most likely slide right back into his spot if that were the case, regardless of the fact he's missed 2 weeks. DD may be held out, it depends on how the other WRs are practicing I guess. Ishaaq might sight out just because he hasn't proven anything yet.

With the students being back on campus, people are going to be disappointed if we don't have answers by mid week whether you think that's fair or not.

I'm not going to be angry, but disappointed if this week passes and we hear nothing and the players are still out? Yep, chalk me up as disappointed if that happens.

They're not in meetings either. We have to assume they know nothing about the Rice game plan. I doubt they play this week unless reinstated today or tomorrow. Too much info to process without a full week of practice and meetings.
