The problem with too much height as a receiver is you are relegated to red zone looks only. Too much exposed body to be functional anywhere else on the field when you don't have TE bulk.

With our red zone efficiency this past year, I will take it.

So you're from Dupont WVA?

I think that it was in the WVA state championship game that Moss went up and got the opening tip, Williams retrieved it, took about two dribbles and lofted a long high ball to the rim. Moss was streaking downcourt, jumped and slammed it with both hands.

Game over.

From charleston, yeah they were awesome that year. But they lost that championship game.

(Ok I'll stop the off topic posts now)

6'8 265 and 6'6 252

One of my biggest pet peeves is comparing recruits to bonafide studs, so let me be clear that I am not doing that, but there is a 6'8 250 pound fellow out there who would more or less rewrite football history books if he ever felt so inclined. He wears #6 and plays for the Miami Heat.

I know LeBron won't list his weight.

But no way in heck he's 250. Lol.

Or he might have been one of those talents kids that got the injury bug and blew out his knee in high school. I remember listening to an NFL player talk about what it takes to make it to and in the NFL. He said it takes a durable body that can withstand all the trials of high school. college, and pro football. He said he knew all kinds of people more talented than him that never made it due to injury.

Yeah I'm honestly thinking more like 280.

NBA seasons are no joke, coupled with international ball in the offseason, it's the real deal. It's not NFL contact, but the assumption that all NBA players would get broken in half is just weird. Lebron James is a thick human being and hasn't been seriously injured ever.

Just walked by Corey and Heuerman on campus. I'm 6'4" and Heuerman looked to be about my height, but Corey was noticeably taller. I get the feeling they both end up as TEs

Maybe. But 3 TEs in a year followed by (the expectation of) 2 more TEs this year puts several on our roster.

I thought that earlier also but unless the staff plans on making Corey put on 50 pounds its not happening. Just going to be a nice big receiver for us at about 6'5

This. Kelly hasn't had a 'big' WR yet, but it's not for lack of recruiting them. Corey will be awesome on the outside IMO.

I'd like to see him put on some weight, line up in the slot, and give us a target down the seam or on quick outs.

This. I might have thought of Robinson as a TE 'project,' but then I saw how well he moved and how quickly he got by some DBs at the Army AA game on deep routes. More than enough athleticism to stick on the outside, and be dam good someday too.

Will be out for the spring game with a hyper extended elbow. As will be Barratti, Fox, Bennett Jackson, and Carlisle.

He looks a lot like his dad. Hopefully he doesn't have his dad's growth spurt. That could hurt his football career a bit.

Big catches yesterday. Robinson ended up being our leading receiver.
