Realistically right now just Oklahoma.

Michigan St isn't considered a Blue Blood in either but they would be the second most likely to win a NC in either at the moment.

Besides that, Michigan, OSU or Texas could do it at anytime but as good as their basketball teams have been from time to time, they only have 2 NC's between them.

As you mentioned, if UCLA did it I wouldn't be shocked.

With Donovan out of Florida, they are off my list but lastly, I'll throw Miami on there. Larranaga has a Top 10 program that can beat anybody and Mark Richt just got the keys to QB-U and isn't just a matter of time before the momentum swings back to the Canes?

I'm not giving you Oklahoma. I would shock me if they competed for a title in bball, and I'm using football as their 'original' powerhouse. But good call on MSU - wouldn't shock anyone if they competed for a title in the forseeable future in football IMO.

(Let's see how far we can go before we get the 'off topic' siren - jk)

OU was in the Final Four and #1 for I'm guessing a month this year Koon. That's competing.

In reality, if you conducted a poll and asked, Do you consider (fill in the blank) a football or basketball school?, you would get very few votes for schools that are traditional powers in one sport but get the vote for the other sport because they are top twenty right now. Once a school gets its label, that's pretty much who they are.

Figured this would be best put here, but am happy to say had the call that i was next up and decided to pull the trigger on being a season ticket holder for the upcoming season and hopefully beyond. The "Donation" to the university is a joke! Only took 34 years to get here, but damn proud of it!

Firehouse Subs sucks.

Jimmy Johns or GTFO.

If you want hot subs, it's hard to find a better chain than Firehouse, but if you want a quick cold cut Jimmy Johns is better (especially if you want delivery). Jersey Mikes is the best cold cut chain IMO

Jersey Mike's easily better that JJ's but JJ's is fine and costs less. Boar's Head roast beef at JM's is top shelf. As far as Firehouse, I'm a hot sauce guy and they've got me covered in that regard. I go to FH more becuz the Ms. doesn't mind their salads. She won't eat "Subway or Subway knockoffs" as she puts it.

Capriotti's is better than both for a chain but they aren't nationwide yet. My favorite franchise sammie is their Thanksgiving Sub.

Kind of reminds me of if Edelman and Amendola had a child.

Seems to have the upside of a young Steve Largent. Worse case scenario is we get a poor man's Wayne Chrebet.

I see a young Clifford Franklin......

For real though, these comparisons

Clifford Franklin: The football's like a one-man cold to Clifford Franklin. Clifford Franklin's the only man catchin' it, Clifford Franklin's the only man comin' down wid it.

It's because they know his size is a mirage.

It's all lamb meat and pita bread. Once he gets on a college campus, the lack of Mediterranean food will deflate his measurables.

We've got a King Gyros right up the road from campus! He'll be fine!

Haha that place always looks closed when I drive through. And I'm always disappointed because I always think, "This is the time I try that sketchy-looking Gyro drive-thru in South Bend."

If it's the same owner as the one in Michigan City, it'll be good. Good souvlaki, good tzatziki with no dill and may I suggest the rib tips & garlic bread as something you wouldn't normally get at a Greek joint.
