If it's the same owner as the one in Michigan City, it'll be good. Good souvlaki, good tzatziki with no dill and may I suggest the rib tips & garlic bread as something you wouldn't normally get at a Greek joint.

Don't know if it's the same owner, but there's one on US31 on the south-side of Indy. Doesn't look like much, but is my first choice for gyros.

I bet the Mark LT smells awesome by the time you get to French Lick for a little gambling.

Haha that place always looks closed when I drive through. And I'm always disappointed because I always think, "This is the time I try that sketchy-looking Gyro drive-thru in South Bend."

It's open! There are way more sketchier places you can try in South Bend lol. Try the Rally's that is connected to a gas station on Western Avenue if you get the chance.

Shit, Bogs........anybody you don't know?????

I have been criticized for having imaginary friends. I am currently putting together a list of historical figures from whom I am two and three degree of separation. I will start a thread for that.

It could be fun.

Some people collect stamps, or coins, or trading cards. I collect acquaintanceships, and maintain them with interesting people.

harrisburg itself is a typical big city...there are surrounding towns which is where the "redneck"/rich white guys issues are(central dauphin) but there are also almost all african american schools in the inner city(harrisburg high school, steelton) VERY BIG disparity between the schools.....philadelphia is over an hour away

i can never tell when u write how you're coming across....guys like adam brennaman(sp?) te that we recruited...he is from the same area(camp hill)...people from PA consider all areas around harrisburg to be "harrisburg" but they trully aren't...that was what i was trying to convey in my post....the poor go to harrisburg high school, steelton etc...there are a ton of schools in the area which are known to be elite in different sports typically....sounds like spoiled rich daughter writes racist word, upsets "black athlete" and he is shown the door to not bring on anymore issues...corrupt shit but that's how the world works

Harrisburg appears to be relatively close to Philly suburbs, and it is. But the Appalachian foothills cut across between. Philly has Catholics, as does Western Pa (Pittsburgh, etc.) But to this day Harrisburg, (Pa's tenth largest city) is redneck as hell. On the call my friend reminded me of a really prominent ND grad that grew up in the area, that had lots of problems with residents over just being Catholic, fifty - sixty years ago. It hasn't changed much apparently.

More than it's redneck ways, it shares other traits with such repressive communities, it is incestuous as hell. Nobody from the outside's going to fit in. Let alone if they are different!

As a PA resident who is very familiar with Harrisburg, I'll just say that this is very hyperbolic and in many ways simply not true. While it is true that the city has lingering issues with race relations and crime in low-income areas, Harrisburg is actually one of the more diverse cities in the state and hardly "redneck as hell."

If you want to find some real redneck areas in PA, I suggest you visit North Central and parts of Northeastern PA.

I am thinking there was a problem on the field where Parson showed a kid up, maybe even a former starter, and it escalated. The twitter pic everyone saw was a case of a girlfriend(s) jumping in to a football teammates situation. Never good.

Had that been my daughter, I would have tanned her ass. I mean it. I only spanked any of my kids ever about three or four times. One of them was an older daughter that talked so disrespectfully to me at age 13 or 14, that I took her over my lap and spanked her resoundingly. She never used that language to me, or about me, again. But she still hasn't forgotten or forgiven me for that. To heck with it! I would do it again, let alone this, which is far worse!

On the other hand my almost fifteen year old daughter told me that she was ranked 10th in her hs class of about 330. I congratulated her which was not totally comfortably, because she had no idea she was doing so well, and she really is humble, (my daughter humble, I know!) So she went on to explain, nine of her fellow honors students all had max gpa's so they all were listed as tied for 10th! So funny.

She wouldn't have started a fight with that girl, but she would have Vaselined her steering wheel and inked her seat! She really dislikes mean people.

Just because the average person in my town drives a truck jacked up on 35's and doesn't work because they are too high on heroin does not make this a redneck area.
That's Juniata and Perry County.
