I suspect they won't allow you to take a thermos into the stadium, is that correct?

Correct. The only food or beverage you can bring in is unopened water.I suspect they won't allow you to take a thermos into the stadium, is that correct?
Having just spent my first fall in MI, I gotta agree with Wizards (a bit). Hills add a lot to the foliage scene, and Michigan generally only has hills in places with excessive evergreens. These are nice in winter but break up the fireworks a tad.
My main complaint about new England autumn is that it's built up too much. It's wonderful, truly, but I'd argue Appalachia gives it a run, especially when you consider the overcrowding that tends to occur around resorts and lodges near prime fall weekends. Not that it detracts from the colors, but it does take away from the experience somewhat.
Northeast Ohio south of Cleveland is also really nice, with the national park being there.
Are the Smokies considered Appalachia?Good point. My wife and I went to the ND / UT game in Knoxville back in 2001. Then spent a couple of days in the Smokies. It was as pretty as any place in the fall.

I love the Smokies but I've only ever been in spring.

I know a lot of others think different them me but that's paradise to me.
I anxiously await the first big snowstorm in the greater Cincinnati area.
I love that sh*t.
Especially since I work for a college, and a snow day is PTO that doesn't come out of my vacation haha.
I'm waiting to try out my new snow blower.
my step dad went out and bought some new uber badass snow blower for the winter.
He said he would die this winter if he had to shovel as much snow as he did last. I laughed and said well you know its not gonna snow this winter now.
I know I'm just a dumb redneck from the south but how exactly does one blow snow? I'm picturing a leaf blower, and that seems like it would take forever. I'd rather use a shovel.
Edit: I just looked up snow blowers, they look like damn lawn mowers. I guess you just push it around to clear a path. LOL
For the price, wouldn't it be cheaper to just pay the guy down the road with the super duty $20 to plow you out during the bad storms?yeah they a similar to lawn mowers. blades move the snow out a chute which can be aimed to your choosing.
Depending on the amount and density of the snow, a blower is def. WAY better than shoveling.

Went for a bug-free hike yesterday in the falling snow. Just gorgeous. Wouldn't trade winter for all the mosquitoes in Florida!
