If that sounds familiar he said the same thing after he visited ND in the summer (he never ended up visiting other schools).

Also his only OV right now is to ND on October 19th for the USC game.

I don't think ND is in any hurry to take his commit. 7 likely spots left and if you look at the players on the board Izzy isn't in the top 10.

I agree. From time to time I watch his High School film to remain excited about him. He could possibly our biggest surprise this year.

They're slow-playing him because they have bigger fish to fry...the academics can be taken care of easily, even after he signs (for example, stud recruits with 'academic issues' have been known to take their missing foreign language class in the summer after the senior year in h.s.). When Holmes came aboard, that allowed ND to be much more picky.

I still hope they take him if they think he's good enough because it seems like we are never at our 85 limit, but we'll see what the coaches do...

Playing right now on ESPN. His team is stacked (Sony Michel, T. McFadden, Torrance Gibson, etc) and already up 14-0. Isaiah just showed some nice quickness on a punt return. He is #5.
