Two years ago Clemson stormed the field after their 3rd ranked team beat an unranked Syracuse team LOL
I'm leaving the recording on my TV and I've watched the end of the game and OT several times. Never gets old.

You're just wrong here. Notre Dame storms the field when we beat big teams at home. We always have, and we're the blue bloodiest kid on the block. The "oh it should be normal for you" attitude doesn't apply because we've always done it, whether major success is typical or not.
We stormed the field in 77.
We stormed the field in 88.
We stormed the field in 93.
We stormed the field in 05............... fuckers
The university specifically raised the height of the walls surrounding the field in the stadium renovation because we rushed it too often. So to say that blue bloods don't rush is wrong, because we do.
At the risk of incurring the wrath of the board, let me as an outsider - and even more importantly, as a fan of a fellow CFB blueblood - add my two cents worth. WTF were your fans storming the field for??? Bama, ND, OSU, Oklahoma, USC... those teams' fans DO NOT storm the field under any circumstances. We expect to beat everyone. Beating #1 teams is common for blueblood programs like ours. Storming the field is for the poors who are shocked to have beaten a top team. You're not Michigan St. or Ole Miss or Cal. Don't storm the field the next time you beat a #1 team.

Clemson storms the field after every home game.
Nouveau pauvre.
I thought so, too. Sort of a back-handed compliment. "You're back in the club now, so act like you belong here."
Storming the field is not just for the poors, but also for temporarily impoverished aristocrats, which is where we've been for the last 27 years or so.
Seriously? Wow.

They storm the field after every home game win IIRC
Also not really discussed a bunch, but this was likely the last home game for many of the students this year. I can only imagine the emotional toll this has on college kids. I have tried imagining what my college experience would be like with these guidelines and well, it would have been a much less enriching experience. So these kids probably have, for the first time in a long ass time, have something to be emotionally giddy over and be...gasp...college kids. I am happy for them, they got to experience something almost every other college student has over the last 40+ years. It wasn't just about beating Clemson, it was about being in the moment and forgetting about the shit show that is 2020.
Another perfect example of this is Utah 2010.

Man, that Utah 2010 game was lit! Family had season tickets in the gold seats for 20 years. A lot of snow birds packed it in, thinking the team was done for the season and they either sold their tickets or gave them away to younger family members. When we got down to our seats for that game there were a LOT of fresh, young faces and not the normal season ticket holders. They were rowdy, despite being upset by Tulsa the week before as Dayne Crist got injured I think.
Clemson players and coaches were not the only ones unhappy leaving Notre Dame Stadium Saturday night. The parents of a prominent Clemson player is not happy with how the few Clemson people who were allowed into Notre Dame Stadium were treated Saturday night.
The Clemson Insider was told by some of those who were in attendance for the Tigers’ 47-40 double overtime loss at Notre Dame, that there were issues between the stadium ushers and Clemson parents. Per ACC rules, only 200 Clemson fans were allowed into Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Ind., which were players’ parents, family members and Clemson staff personnel.
The stadium ushers were annoying and harassing the Clemson parents throughout the first half. Several family members, including the parent of one of the defensive starters, were kicked out of stadium. Things escalated to the point where Clemson parents had to complain to police officers to stop the harassment.
While Clemson parents were being harassed Notre Dame students were not practicing social distancing protocol, which according to sources, the ushers were not paying attention at all to.
Following the win Notre Dame fans stormed the field. The Clemson players and coaches had to wait to enter the tunnel as ushers allowed fans to stream out of the stands onto the field.
