I recently spoke with our pal, GBdomer, and he wanted me to relay a message to you all:

I first would like to apologize to all of you for the way I acted about the Vanderdoes thing. I had no inside info on it and I came across extremely arrogant about it. Tp told me about it and I emailed a mod about it about a month later just asking if he had heard anything. I honestly didn't mean to come across as I had all this info no one else had. You have every right to make fun of me for the whole "I knew a month ago thing". I was very arrogant I do owe all of you an apology. I know there are some of you out there who don't like me and I respect that for the way I acted on this board. I'm a punk and always have fun. I know it's just a message board and I'm not looking for any special attention I just wanted to let you guys know how I felt. God bless and hopefully I see some of you guys at the Oklahoma game this year! God bless and go Irish!

Do me a solid and relay this message to GB.

When I was a kid, I got in a fight with one of my friends. He did something pretty effed up and I swore that I wouldn't forgive him, but eventually I did. I remember my father asking me, "was he himself when he apologized?". I said "sure" although I frankly didn't know what he was talking about. It wasn't until a year later when this same friend betrayed me that I realized what he meant.

See, this guy said all of the right stuff and it seemed heartfelt. Which really didn't suit his obnoxious personality. It was just a front to get back in good graces. He was simply begging rather than changing his actual behavior.

I see you on the other sites doing the exact same things you were doing here when you left. Treating people the same, downgrading others just the same, touting yourself the same exact way. Then you expect us all to believe the heartfelt nature of your "apology". Some people will buy it and some won't. Maybe you come back and you turn back into the funny, cool dude you were when you first joined. Or maybe you just revert back to the same person you were when you left. I will sit back and see, because after all, you left on your own. I took a hiatus and I feel like it made me revert back to more of what I used to be. It made me want to be positive and made me remember why I love this place. Maybe you can do the same.

So we shall see, GB. My dad also always told me that character is built off what you do when no one is looking. Well, I have seen you on the other boards... You just didn't know anyone was looking.

I hope to see the GB I once knew again. He was a good dude.

GB was an asset to this site and a cool dude in my book. Sure he might have pushed the insider thing a bit far at times but he was always good for info, be that subscription or not.

Wooly, when I've talked to him he's been sincere. I'm willing to give him a second chance and I think you should too.

Time away from here is good for all of us from time to time. Except for GITF because he's a robot.

GB is like that shock radio guy every city has. He drives ya crazy while at the same time is entertaining.

I really didn't care much for him when I first started on IE, but after awhile I started to not really take him seriously. At that point I found him entertaining. He adds something to IE.

I would like to see him come back.

I'm almost certain that he is back and was quite active today. He's a solid poster when he isn't looking for attention. If he is back and contributing then I'm glad.

With all the drama around here, some days I feel like I've joined a ladies club.

But that was a nice apology, so I'm sorry for some of the crap I post too. I don't know what comes over me sometimes, it's like my fingers are possessed and the next thing I know, I'm hitting "post quick reply".
