He would be the best RB commit since ??? Have we ever had a stud RB like this in recent memory? James Aldridge maybe?

Not a RB, but on a pure athleticism basis, I'd compare him more recently to Davonte Neal (gulp, *knocks on wood furiously*).

A true 5-star prospect based on being an all-around homerun threat. Shiftiness, top-end speed, acceleration... everything is there.

From a ratings/rankings perspective, it's Greg Bryant. He was omposite 45th nationally. And the highest rated RB of the BK era.

I think you might be misunderstanding what he was saying, lol. He's saying that Dohn switched his CB from OU to ND.

If he is coming to Notre Dame, does he even compare to anyone of recent memory at Notre Dame. I know they have similar builds, but someone please don't say Amir Carlisle lol. I ask because it'll be interesting to see how Kelly and Long use a player like Tyree in an offense that seems to have everything else that you would want.

Go 4 or 5 wide and work him in the flats? Delayed hand offs? End arounds?

I'm curious to see how/if he holds up if they run him up the middle into the teeth of a defense. No matter what, it would be exciting to get a running back that is wanted by the CFP frequent flyers and a guy with so much ability.

I would like to hear the opinions to your question as well. BUT, i will telll you this much. I am muchhhhh more confident in Long using a talent like this, than i would have been with the previous OCs

He's one of the fastest high school sprinters in the country. He has vision, acceleration and elusiveness. I think they'll use him by getting him the damn ball.

End arounds, jet sweeps, tunnel screens amongst the regular plays for a RB/WR. I would expect a Theo+ role, similar to what we're hearing about Armstrong.

Honestly, his highlights look like a shorter, slightly faster George Atkinson. Not a ton of "make you miss" wiggle or lateral explosion, mostly looks for a crease and gets north-south.

He does run tougher than I would have guessed based on his height and weight. Unlike GAIII, I don't worry about whether he can handle the fundamental aspects of being a RB.

Didn't want to seem down on the kid, because I'm very excited to have him, but I had the same thought. He's definitely a homerun threat, but I'm a little concerned about the workload given his size. He definitely doesn't remind me of Riddick, because I felt like Riddick was shifty over everything else. He seems more like a one cut and go back a la Adams (without being absolutely huge like Adams).

I would hope they use him similar to the way Lou used the Rocket. Line him up all over the place so the D can't plan. Get the mismatch and go.
