I think Nebraska has the lead with oregon sitting in second and ND at 3rd
And you've been killing it lately...........

Last I checked I called both Haskell Garrett and Wyatt Davis to OSU when most on here were saying ND
Stevie is having "mixed feelings" on this one. ND sources feel confident. Sources elsewhere don't think its ND.
Here we go again. Brian Kelly an staff don't have the killer instinct on the field and they still don't have it on the recruiting trail.

LOL, prolly only landed banks by accident I spose....
IIRC OL depth will be thin after next year so having Banks (or a 4th OL) was an absolute necessity not luxury. We also need Paschal. I would be happy if we close with Paschal, Simmons and Graham. We already have an embarrassment of riches on the o-line. Banks might be the biggest luxury in this 2017 class. This team always seems to struggle finding defensive playmakers (especially in the secondary); so, IMO, landing Graham is much more important than landing Banks (no disrespect to him either, I think he could be great under HH). But adding Graham to Adebo and Hicks will have me feeling very confident with the secondary mobing forward, especially with how some of the younger defensive backs played this year.
If I had to rank the players that Notre Dame is after over the last 2 months of the cycle, it'd look like this:
1.) Josh Paschal
2.) Thomas Graham
3.) Oliver Martin
4.) Antjuan Simmons
5.) Jamire Calvin
6.) Aaron Banks
Oh come on dude.....,Brian Kelly just visited him and his family at his house then hosted him for the banquet. What else do you want? Do you want BK to shine his shoes, give him a back massage and do his homework for him? I don't think you're a bad guy but sometimes your negativity really pisses me off.

What does any of this have to do with closing? I agree top commits at positions of need would be welcomed over positions of want.

you wouldn't know that by watching the OL play
I would and so do NFL scouts.

Seems like the classic tell that he isn't coming to ND. We get this seemingly every cycle. A recruit from out west gives tons of lip service to ND but then picks some school that is almost nothing like ND. I would not be surprised to see him follow the transient position coach to Nebraska or pick Oregon out of the blue or do anything but pick ND.

Man...how is it that after a very promising OV weekend, the result is this massive blow to the nads?
He may be the best player overall left on our board (I think Paschal is though) but he's at probably the least position of need. Although this one stings a little if we don't get him, it won't break my heart.
