So he had some interesting tweets last night
Oh Mike. C'mon man. Seems like some drunken tweets. I'd say he regrets that when he makes up.
So, which opposing coaches saved those screen grabs for recruiting purposes?
South Bend police have always been out of control, overly confrontational, anti-ND student, ANTI-ND athletes, and so on and so forth. You will not find anyone who went to ND with a good thing to say about them.
EDIT: was in town for Trevor Robinson's wedding, right?
I think all of the above is pretty well known, but is it reasonable that Floyd layered it as a racial issue? Like do the cops target the black students/athletes specifically?
That's an honest question that I haven't heard much on, outside of "SB Police are Trash."
I actually think this happens fairly often. Cops can sometimes just be dicks whether you're white, black, etc... I assume some black people would think it was a racial issue when often it's just a dickhead cop.
I approve this message.to suggest that police treat white ppl the same as black ppl is naïve at best.
Here's what I would say to Mike.
I don't believe that it's a coincidence that every time he experienced what he felt was institutional racism within the South Bend PD... He was drinking?
Sounds like Mike needs to look in the damn mirror. Even his tweet was clearly a drunken rant. His dui, his experience in a bar where he was kicked out, this tweet spree... They all have one thing in common... A drunk Michael Floyd.
Get your shit together, Big Mike.
I've been drunk plenty of times when I was younger, and by drunk, I mean piss assed, walleyed, having a hard time differentiating the difference between the pisser & the trash can drunk, and having to deal with cops. Yes, I'm white, but never did they harrass me as long as I wasn't being a belligerent fucking idiot. It goes a long way to being courteous to others, even if it means you have to kiss a little ass just to not be causing any problems......I don't, nor will I ever understand people who think they can act and treat people a certain way just because of who you are, or the color of your skin, or you're a big time superstar
