I HATE people who speed up to pass you, but once they get around you they slow down to slower than you were going. I was on cruise doing 70 in a 75 recently and a guy did this to me 5 times in 30 minutes. He'd pass me and then slow down to 68 or 69 once he got by me. I just don't understand this sort of stupidity and lack of common sense.

how about this scenario:

Your driving on a street with 2 lanes going the same direction. You are approaching 2 cars in front of you in the same lane(single file). One of those cars switches over to the 2nd lane, only to go the exact same speed they were going in the other lane, preventing you from getting past them.

You should have been going 85 in a 75 a minimum

Grounds for a justifiable shooting.

Sounds like every driver on the Interstate in the state of Wisconsin. They simply don't get the concept of a passing lane. They think they're all cruising lanes even when there's a line of cars 2+ miles long behind them. Never seen such oblivious drivers in my life.

Sounds like you were stuck behind some of my wife's relatives.

In 2000 I was driving a rented truck from FL to MN with stuff from my mother's place after she had passed away.

I was not in the best of moods.

Some yutz decided to "draft" behind me. It was difficult enough to negotiate Chattanooga, an area I was not familiar with, at sunset on a smoggy day driving west.

It was not an overly large truck, but believe "If You Can't See My Mirror, I Can't See You."

The shithead tailed me and drove me crazy for an hour or two. I tried slowing to below the speed limit. I tried speeding (the Ryder topped out at 80 on a level grade, 85 0n a downhill run) but the sumbitch was attached to my rear bumper where I couldn't see him.

I decided to take the next exit to grab a bite and gas up. I was then in my "drive as fast as this under powered behemoth will go" mode.

Unfortunately, there was a State Trooper lurking at the far end of of a curve in the highway just before the exit ramp – I think that I even had my blinker on.

I was pulled over for driving 85 in a 65 zone. The only solace was that the trooper also pulled over my "tail" and assured my, after I told my story, was that he was getting three citations as opposed to my one.

Had a rough week at work. I'm an ortho physician assistant and also work with hand surgeons..... I had so many infections due to IV drug abuse this week and managing their care and their "pain" makes me absolutely boil. Keep in mind I've never been in a fight in my life and have a sibling who has also spent ~6years in prison and rehabs because of drug related things.

I'm guessing they aren't in a hurry to get where they're going because there's no place to go in Wisconsin!

This is the truth - piss poor oblivious drivers was almost enough reason to leave that state before even factoring in hundreds of other reasons to GTFO.

People, especially friends, who get mad when you just try to help, but in a way different than what they want.

Witnessed a new low tonight at the gym:

young couple "working out" together. girl is doing the leg press and the guy bends down to kiss her mid set. Unbelievable.

Boston Lager and Octoberfest aren't phenomenal but they're always solid. Maple Ale has me intrigued.

I am not a fan of Boston Lager or their Octoberfest but the other 4 could be interesting. I am just looking forward to Siera Nevad's Snow Pack in a few months.
