I wasn't that impressed with Fromm. 10-15 for 143 yards against App. St. Either threw quick, short throws or a few dying ducks deep. No intermediate passes at all. I'd feel less confident with Eason back there with that arm that can make any throw.

Definitely doesn't have the size or arm strength that Eason has. Eason can throw it a mile but would miss the Grand Canyon from 10 yards away. Eason has no accuracy and is very inconsistent with his mechanics. Fromm seemed very calm and accurate. That offense had nothing going on until Fromm came in. Don't think they even had a first down with Eason on Saturday. Could be wrong on that tho.

Either way...we should win and I think both teams game plans will be the same defensively. Sellout to stop the run and make the QB throw to beat you. I like us in that situation but our receivers getting separation concerns me a bit, besides EQ of course. Wish we had Stepherson for this one. He needs to get things situated.

Exactly. Non-Fromm QBs played half the game... Georgia had basically no yards, no first downs, could not move the ball. Fromm comes in and they move the ball on every single drive, scoring on 5 out of 6.

Eason killed their offense last year because he missed guys and got the ball out slow. Fromm was effective pushing the ball downfield (and they were certainly not all "ducks") and was accurate/efficient in their short passing game like Eason has never been able to do.

I was looking forward to watching this game and just now realized that I can't watch it because I have at&t uverse and NBC is off the air because affiliation agreement something or another not being met. Does anyone know how I might be able to watch it online? I'm super bummed and pissed.

I hope they have an agreement here shortly. Usually when this happens the TV station catches so much flack that the outage is no more than a day or two.

You can't pick up an NBC with $9.95 digital rabbit ears?

I have a decent pair that cost about $60. Getting digital channels over the air is hard to do at my house (SE Indy) and then you get a lot of pixilation.

Given their o-line is starting some new guys and flopping positions, this should help our D line.

with the new sound system, ND is going to have to pump out some cheers for the Irish out of the tunnel. We'll hear more boos than cheers since its now an away game for ND

shades of Steve Elmer here when he visited Michigan to watch them take on ND and realised in his heart he was rooting for ND. Hopefully Jamaree feels the same way this weekend.

You mean you hope that Jamaree is rooting for ND in his heart and not he's rooting for the away team?

Holy cow. I don't really follow recruiting but that looks like one bad hombre.

watch his one on one tape at the Opening (in his recruiting thread). He basically made a bunch of the DL quit and not want to face him because he was embarrassing them so bad.

Time to beat them Jawjah Dogs Irish Nation. Run the rock and then pick on them corners.

I was in the mountains last week for the Temple game and wound up buying the NBC Gold package for streaming all ND home games. It was $70 for Canada but I think the package was about $49 in the U.S. You can also purchase the individual games.

It worked okay, there were some "buffering" issues that affected video (not audio) and overall I was satisfied (not ecstatic). Something to look into anyway.

I'll be hunting in the mountains late October through to December so it seemed like a pretty good investment providing I can maintain reliable wifi at the cabin. Cheers!

That sounds like a possibility, thanks, I will figure something out. Cheers!

I'll tell you what. I work across the street from campus and this place is buzzing. Very busy and lots of both ND fans and UGA dawgs.
