I just received my alum lottery tix on Tuesday - mine were two days later than my buddy. Email was sent day after they were sent with the FedEx tracking number. Freaking ridiculous they sit on the tickets that long after you pay for them. Would gladly pass on the magnetic closing ticket box (that was crunched in transit anyway) for a quicker turn around time.

I am going to this game and USC this year. The USC game we are doing a full weekend in South Bend so for Temple we were looking at doing it different. We planned on Chicago and taking the Irish Express Tailgate to the game. Has anyone been on this before?

There really isn't many reviews I can find other than Yelp which is only a few. Looks like an awesome experience, was just wondering if others had experiences with it.

Very late in this response. From Chicago, we took the Bus2NotreDame for a night game against USC. It left around 9:00 a.m. and included a buffet breakfast (great) somewhere downtown... or close. Full bar all the way to the Stadium and then a huge tailgate. Brats, burgers, all the fixings and top shelf booze and beer until we left (around 11:00 p.m.). We didn't attend, but there was a dinner upon arrival in Chicago as well.

Great group and included tours of the campus if you wanted.

As I recall, the price was $125 per person. In all honesty, if I didn't have tickets to the game, I would still take this trip. The ride was great and the tailgating was exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

If there was any downside it was the large amount of opposing fans that also use this service. Lots of fun heading into South Bend but pretty quiet heading back... The Irish put the hurt on the Trojans that evening. Cheers!

I've heard of a place, on campus, that has a buffet dinner after the games. I thought i heard you have to register for it.

Anyone have an idea...or link to it?

Is IE having a tailgate get-together for this game?

I watched about the first 9 minutes of the head coach's post practice interview. His philosophy or theory for their quarterbacks is so asinine to me lol. He really thinks that playing 2-3 quarterbacks won't mess up any kind of offensive rhythm? Like really? Even the media guys were questioning him about it lol. And then he doesn't like to do depth charts and label players as the starter or a backup because if they are labeled as a #2 or #3, they will act like it. Is he afraid to hurt someone's feelings if he puts them as a backup? Apparently he thinks he's coaching 10 year olds and not young adults. He definitely comes off as a "participation trophies for everyone" kinda guy.

He's clearly trying to not play his hand before the season. Just a bunch of coach speak.

The guy has spent the last four years as a defensive coordinator in the SEC. Guessing he understands competition. (maybe not offense tho)

I can see where he could be going with a no depth chart philosophy. Keep the competition going. If you know you are the 2 or 3, like he said, maybe you play like that. You don't push the 1 for playing time, you don't fight to climb. I get it.

I guess i'm just not sure of anything. I just heard there is an after game buffet that is second to none and was interested in learning more about it to see if my pops and I can check it out and get a different game day experience.

This year, the Tuesday game week pressers will be recorded but embargo'ed until after the game on Saturday to run concurrent with the post game presser.
