That chart isn't so bad, because it actually allows an avenue for "Not Cultural Appropriation."

If you understand that you have white privilege, and don't abuse or deny it, then you have the best of intentions.

I think that FAR oversteps things. By like, a lot.

But still, not as bad as I thought it was going to be haha.

Right...all of the final decisions hinge on whether you acknowledge your white privilege or not . If you do proceed carefully, if you dont understand or accept it then its cultural appropriation. Just act like you have white privilege and you all are good.

LMAO.

You could but that would be cultural appropriation on your part, wouldn't it?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from several years of your posts here your TP heritage consists of Sears Catalogs, LA Times, Strip Bar flyers, 3 day old fajitas, or going pantsless till aired dry.

Am I doing this right?
Two relevant questions I don't see them asking.

1. Is it funny as hell?
2. Is it delicious?

that's usually why the 2 ply is needed in the first place...

Speaking of fajitas, I made these bomb steak fajitas the other night but it cost me a damn fortune. $9 a pound for flank steak and avocados are $3 each now! Wtf!? Eating like ACamp ain't for the poors.

You didn't stab yourself preparing the avocados to be trendy, did you?

Avocados are no joke... I'm trying to think of any other food items that vary in price as often as avocados do and nothing is coming to me... I've had best laid plans ruined many a time by the price of avocados before...

Demand is sky high. I'm glad I don't care too much for them.

Bacon Sandwich... on rye.. with mayo and avocado. You'll thank me later.

I don't really care for mayo either. The only bacon I keep around my place anymore tends to be either turkey bacon or something really nice that's on sale. Also I don't make sandwiches anymore either, just lots and lots of tacos.

I'm offended that some feminist thinks they can describe cultural appropriation with such a small chart.

But seriously, the fact someone took the time to make such a chart...and their conclusions...

Nah, doesn't look like me at all. If y'all saw me in real life you'd definitely say "yeah, that makes tons of sense". I'm on turkey bacon because I gotta lose a few pounds, plus HEB has some delicious maple cured turkey bacon...and it's on sale!

It's very different than normal bacon, but I got used to slopping it together with my scrambled eggs, cheese, and cholula on some toast. It all tastes good there.

cholula... one of my many loves... I have been on this kick lately:

Though cholula can be pretty expensive when compared to almost any other hot sauce...

I have that one, got it for free at HEB with a coupon. In fact, I can almost always get a coupon for the Cholula or for something free WITH the Cholula. Cholula is love, Cholula is life.

@ Lax and @beau: please excuse not quoting, as that's a lot of text.

I've said multiple times that I don't agree with them, so I'm not getting what point either of you are trying to make here. My argument was that most people weren't mad that they were simply white people making Mexican food. Which you both I think are acknowledging. I think they are wrong and what they did didn't hurt the Mexicans they visited. I don't think they deserved said criticism.

That all being said. The argument of the original article was that it was some cry of reverse racism by a bunch of PC addicted weirdos. That is innacurate. They are incorrect in their opinion that they are taking advantage of the Mexicans they visited, but they aren't calling for white people to "know their role".

Oh.. and the fact that it's another random situation that is being projected as evidence of widespread, rampant PC culture. Which of course, it is not.

My point is that the above bolded, and the below from earlier...

I honestly cannot think of a single person I have ever met or encountered that lost their job due to not following som PC code of conduct. Not one.

Are completely at odds with the fact that you have an organized movement of PC'ers targeting 60+ restaurants in Portland for harassment/trolling with the aim of putting them out of business.

You cannot keep claiming there isn't some issue affecting real people when there is tangible, irrefutable evidence that it's happening on a widespread scale (i.e. targeting dozens of business explicitly because they aren't PC and trying to ruin those people's livelihoods). Literally all I want you to admit is that there are in fact a substantial group of people who are being adversely affected by over-aggressive PC culture.

My comment you quoted said "I cannot think of someone I've encountered". Do you personally know these chicks? Ate at their restaurant? Any cousins friends old roommates ever date one?

I can find probably more cases of beastiality than I can of "angry mobs of PC'ers" over the last year. Hell, one happened in Middlebury a few weeks ago (probably Rack Em).

Does that mean pony porking is a widespread issue effecting society?

It's not about Kook's. This is literally the 4th time I've said this. It's about the list of 60+ businesses. Five dozen restaurants in a single metropolitan area is not "isolated". You're either intentionally ignoring this in order to troll, or intentionally not reading the article, or both.

And you better believe similar movements and lists exist for every major metropolitan area.

And when I did mention someone who I did know that had their business destroyed by SJW's you were all like "oh... well... that doesn't count because I say so"...
