Is this similar to the idea of "white privilege" among non-whites?

One could make that argument but I would disagree with it. One idea I would like to see discussed more is how class status as a component of racial dynamics has begun to turn some of these arguments on their heads.

What's the distinction?

Between the idea of white privilege and this idea of ZOG?

I think he meant the idea of "White Privilege" by non-whites, compared to the idea of "Jewish Privilege" by non-Jews being similar.

If I want to assert my white privilege, do I do the opposite of these ten things? Or do I keep doing what I'm doing? I'm so confused. Being privileged is hard work.

Doing it by the book is anyway...

Ok. If we are specifically talking about the situation here in the United Sates I would say this. "White privilege" is a part of a social structure/caste system that is the result of very clearly stated and implemented economic, social and political policies that have been enacted throughout the course of this nation’s history (slavery, manifest destiny, Jim Crow, redlining, the war on drugs, ect...). Furthermore, these policies have been specifically designed to benefit members one ethnic group (keep in mind the idea of who was white expanded over time to include non-WASP Europeans) at the expense of others (Blacks). In the US I have not seen anything comparable as it specifically relates to Jews. That is to say, I cannot think of a case where Jewish Americans have conspired to manipulate the nations social, cultural and political spheres to benefit Jewish Americans specifically at the expense of other ethnic groups.

I do believe that class is the elephant in the room in all this and I strongly believe that talking about race without addressing class structures/issues is a mistake.

If anyone is looking for some thought provoking podcasts, look up Jordan B. Peterson's. They are incredibly thought provoking. I haven't read his book yet but I'm a little over half way through his podcasts and they've been great.

could not agree more. suprising how quickly he has popped up

More on the hilarious case of Ziad Ahmed, the prep-school attending nonblack "activist" son of a hedge-fund manager who was recently admitted to Stanford on the strength of his personal statement, which consisted of him copying-and-pasting "#blacklivesmatter" 100 times.

He wrote last year about how hard it is to be him because Trump is running for President. Funnily enough, I don't think it is that hard to be him. In fact, it's harder to the be the white kid from a public school in Kansas who is a member of Junior ROTC. (I'm guessing such a kid would not be helped by writing "#MAGA" 100 times in his personal statement.)

It reveals that complaints about "white privilege" are essentially a racket designed to give jobs to rent-seeking liberal activist self-promoters (or, for that matter, to earn them admission to Stanford).

Those aren't "movements."

How would you define a "movement"?

I would hate to be a marketer in today's day and age where everyone and their brother is offended by everything. At the same time, I shake my head that Pepsi really signed off on making that commercial. It couldn't have been cheap to produce, yet no one threw up a red flag? Maybe the intentions were pure, but the execution was horrible. Only a Kardashian and a can of Pepsi can bring us all together...

According to my wife, it was produced by their in house team... which is usually where things get a little loose, because people who live and breathe a brand tend to believe their own hype. This is why major brands usually have external advertising agencies and consultants in addition to an in house team. She also said there is a longer cut of the commercial that is MUCH better.

Like you said, the problem was the execution. How they cut the 30 second spot was just dreadful and they probably didn't realize it because they had all this background from the longer ad that no one else has. The way the short ad is cut makes it seem like she joins the protest just to be trendy and then solves real world serious problems with a can of magic Pepsi. So terrible.

Transgender freshman in Conn. competes with girls track team for first time | USA Today High School Sports

This is the exact thing that will end the support Trans people have in society. Men & Women were not created equally. This can't be denied. If my daughter would have placed 2nd in these events I'd be raising hell.

This is what happens. You give a little, they take a lot. Where is the line drawn? When did accepting people turn into altering everything around said accepted people to let them live out their dream over the rest of ours.

It's really absurd. Also, looking at those track times cracks me up. She's really slow for a male. Really, really slow.

For fun, I just looked at the track times from when I was a senior in HS... I would've handily won a girls national championship in multiple sprint events if I identified that way... obviously, if you take things to their logical conclusion then we might as well eliminate genders in sports and I don't think anyone would say that's a good idea.

The difference is even more stark than that. This is from an article on women in combat roles that came across my Twitter feed earlier today:

When you move into men and women who are in decent shape, the performance differential becomes even more stark. For instance, the world record in the Women’s 800m is held by Jarmila Kratochvílová her time is 1:53.28. Below are the top 10 Women’s 800m times:

women-800.png

Now let’s look at the 800m times from high school boys in the state of California in 2015:

boys-800.png

Why the top 49 times? Because the top 10 women 800m times, ever, would place between 16th and 48th place among high school boys times in California.

If you want to do a more apples to apples comparison, the top Women’s 800m time would be over seven seconds slower than the 6,258th best Men’s time.

The entire purpose of a certain Title IX clause(s) would be destroyed.

“That’s the dilemma for the audience,” [Chappelle] says, “Because he rapes, but he saves a lot of lives. And he saves way more than he rapes, and he only rapes to save. But he does rape.”
