Expected to visit for the game Thomas Graham, Jaylon Redd, Deommodore Lenoir, and Rahyme Johnson

This is HUGE. I'm thinking that list will double in high ranked recruits by then. I would LOVE to get Rahume Johnson and from watching his interview, he spoke really highly about ND, almost like he was in awe and loved the history, tradition and academics. Fingers crossed BIG TIME.

I just feel like every year some people say we are going to destroy Stanford because they are replacing a bunch of guys and it never happens. I will be thrilled just to win by 1.

We all should be! I just think this year will be different because they have to replace a QB that started multiple years; that is a lot different than having to replace a running back or a couple receivers. Also, the 2016 Irish offense will probably be better than the 2015 offense and we all saw what the 2015 offense did to Stanford. I'll take Notre Dame at home, under the lights over Stanford by a couple touchdowns

Every year Stanford is supposed to take that step back and they don't. Like him or not, Shaw has a pretty good program in place.

That's funny I disagree, personally. I think kizer back their spreads them out creating bigger running lanes.

Zaire and a jumbo package plays more into Stanford strengths IMO.

I agree. The last thing we want is to give them number advantages at the line. We need their linebackers to have to cover, our linemen in one on one battles and finding ways to make them beat us in space.

Offense seems extremely mediocre with the OL taking a step back. But they looked bad against Northwestern last year, too. Tough to tell from one week but this team has 10 points of offense against a mediocre Big 12 defense.

Considering how terrible K-State is on offense, and how ineffective they've been at getting McCaffrey involved on their own offensive side, Stanford is laying a bigger egg than Tennessee did last night.

EDIT: Instant jinx, but I stand by my general premise. No way Stanford makes it to South Bend unbeaten, considering their schedule.

Tough to light it up when the defense is waiting for you in the hole. Their line has work to do.

Yeah, Stanford came out of the gate slugglish last year too. I expect they'll be better by October, but I see no reason why we shouldn't win it after what I saw tonight.
