Tommy Reese was the worst starter in the history of the NCAA. He was a good back up & that is all he ever was. To start singing his praises is pathetic. Never been so happy to close a chapter in Irish history. If your going to compare their body of work, make sure your evaluation covers the same amount of games started, or played in, or something comparable. Reese . . . . Jeeze.

Tommy Reese was the worst starter in the history of the NCAA. He was a good back up & that is all he ever was. To start singing his praises is pathetic. Never been so happy to close a chapter in Irish history. He did say it would be his defense in the pressed. I also think this shows that Sanford isn't as good as advertised either.

I believe he said they'd be running his D, referring to the coaches. He said he would be present more in the meetings and in practice with the D. He did not 'take over' the D. While he may be a bit less involved with the offense, he's not 'hands off.' And he's the head coach. That's his job. The only person who should shoulder an blame for his lack of defensive inclusion is him.

I heard Stanford's Jordan Perez call the team "A bunch of pussies" in the 1st half when we were beating them. He yelled it in the direction of our section, loud enough for the fans to hear. Pretty classless given there were a lot of young kids in the stands. It's too bad we laid an egg offensively in the 2nd half.

You should thank your lucky stars Tommy Rees was ever a QB at Notre Dame. Without him we don't survive the 2011 season and Kelly possibly gets fired before 2012. We also don't go undefeated without Tommy in 2012, and we don't even make a bowl in 2013. He wasn't Montana, but he was the best we had during most of the stretch from 2010-2013.

Lost to Colorado today 10-5. Their offense is such garbage... all we had to do is not throw pick 6s and snap balls out of the end zone and we would've won.
