Love reinjured his ankle in the 2nd half last Saturday. They taped it but I don't think he went back in as his caddy, Scarlett, was doing well behind Stanford's OLine. He was doing about half as well as Love but it was sufficient.

RB Connor Wedington is a freshman with only 2 carries in 10 games ... for 52 yds or 26 ypa. Weddington has been used more as a receiver with 26 grabs (3rd most on team) for 190 yds, 7.6 ypc.

TE Dalton Schultz has 17 catches 181 yds 10.65 ypc 2TDs (out of the team's 14 TD catches)

I'm afraid that Kelly will pick a losing game plan for ND and Stanford will run all over the Irish. I'm also wondering if Kelly took back calling the plays because of late, the play calling has been awful. My last comment will be that ND will never be an elite team again until three things happen.

I wouldn't be surprised if their lifting is reduced or adjusted. I would be surprised if Balis didn't have adjustments as the season goes on.

Definitely a willpower game. Put your big boy pants on and lets go. The good news is Stanford's offense plays right into our defense. We'll see a lot of rotating of the D line Saturday.

Jim Harbaugh built Stanford and changed the rivalry. Shaw inherited a damn good team and to his credit hasn't messed it up too bad.

Stanford after Navy was circled on my schedule the minute I saw it. You want a soft opponent at home the week after the Middies. Not crammed into a 5 hour flight to fight those roid boys.
