Good luck coach Lea.
Big jump from backers coach to DC...AT NOTRE DAME. You win, ND wins, so I'm with ye 100%. But I'm nervous for ye.
Snoop and Kuehnja are (trying to) manufacturer drama when a guy is getting, yet another, raise?

You're kidding about the lighter schedule, right? He's inheriting great defensive class and a lighter ND schedule in 2018.

You do realize they are the same person. Snoop "joined" while Koon was banned. Same guy. It's kind of an Any Kaufman/Tony Clifton thing only without the talent.
Well that dude was a swole ass body builder with a shaved head... Lea, as it turns out, suffers from anemia and has the collar bone of a Victoria's Secret model.
Would be a nice "f*ck you" to Elko, but there's no way to justify that based on this resume. Lea has already won the lottery here; it doesn't seem like he was on anyone's radar for an elite coordinator role, yet he basically backed into the ND job because Elko f*cked us over with him being one of the only options for maintaining momentum within our current system.

After reading the last several pages of posts I have come to the realization that most of you are dumbasses. No italics.
Let's just hope if he kills it he won't leave after one year. So much credit was given to Elko because he got to be compared to the BVG schitt show. My money is our D is better next year and more experienced. If we are able to keep Tillery and Coney and throw in Tranquil, Love, Okwara, Hayes and Hayes and a bunch of other progressing players who all ot good game experience and we should be much better and deeper. No more Coleman, Crawford and Elliott....sorry guys.
Here is my resume, as long as we are comparing.... I earned a perfect score on the SAT at the age of six, completed high school in nine weeks at the age of nine, graduated from Princeton University in 1983 at age 10, and finished medical school four years later. At age 14, I was the youngest licensed doctor in the country. After 15 years, I got my CPA for fun and transitioned to the business world. I am now a manipulative, oversexed businessman who always wears a suit and likes women with "daddy issues".

Fair points, BUT... It should be noted that Bryce Love had nothing to do with Stanford winning that game last year. Or McCaffrey the year before that.Nah, we are looking good because everyone good is leaving USC and fsu for the draft. We are playing them both at good time. I actually think Michigan will be most balanced team we play next year. Stanford without Bryce love would be big for us as well if he declares.

He ran for like 120 yards and made the defense respect his big play ability. I'd say he had a pretty big hand in helping Stanford move the ball.
Yeah, watch Stanford's game against Oregon State, and tell me Bryce Love didn't have an impact...
I think he was implying what Bryce Love did in our game against Stanford didn't have much of an impact on the final outcome. What he did against other teams doesn't really matter.
That being said, there is definitely an argument against the idea that his play didn't impact our defense.
Damn. Sounds sexy.
Sounds like the perfect excuse to show off our fuck you money.

Not saying Bryce Love didn't have a decent game. What I'm saying is that he was not THE reason we lost. Our inability to defend 50/50 balls and slow receivers is the reason we lost.
