Koon, If you’re lurking, I can assure you I didn’t share the PM with Lax. A few weeks later I had a discussion with Lion outside of IE, but did not share names. Given the nature of the information and the black eye it would have given the University not just the football program (much worse than the frozen five), I wanted to see if there were any other stories floating around to corroborate it. Given the magnitude I felt it was worth it.

As much as I joke, I'm usually sad to see anyone get banned, not so much with Loomis and Cali. I'm sorry to see Koon go just because he was getting to be a pretty serious active gray hair around here, and its fun to have a back and forth with someone you practically know. Koon was a pretty great poster 98% of the time IMO, but he was always begging for it with the other 2%.

I think we should cap the number of bans. If the mods want to ban someone new they have to unban a poster that's currently on the naughty list.

In exchange for Lax we could let in.....oh idk......IrishPat?

No, I don't have facebook. I think I'm pretty open otherwise, and would love to meet up if we ever get the chance. I've met a few board members over the years. I've drunk beers with GK, who generously provided them to me and NDOhio during the downpour at Clemson. I predicted that Yoon would be a bust during that conversation, which I'll own. I wouldn't have gotten to go to that game if not for NDOhio. He PM'd me the day of and I got in my car and drove into the storm lol. He's an absolute class act and a great game watching partner, even in a hurricane.

I actually sang the alma mater with Koon when we shut out Michigan. That was a good night. I met Clash in person that day as well, but that was really brief.

If I ever find myself at a game or near one I try to let the board know to meet up with anyone who's interested. I was in Athens last year and didn't see anyone, but that would have probably been difficult for me. I got absolutely trashed since I went to UGA Law and treated it like a homecoming.

Full disclosure: I kinda Koon'd him with a faux outrage campaign about white WR stereotype (regarding Jay Brunelle I think???) He was getting on even my nerves and was just showing up to gloat instead of doing what the Bama guys do: just move in and sleep in our digital guest room w/o reminding us daily how utterly fantastic they are.

I mean, I get up at 4am everyday and check Bishop's RIP postings to make sure I'm not on it.

I can vouch for arndtjc, Some Irish Bloke, Irish #1, scUM Sucks, IrishLion, and NDinLA. They were all stand up dudes at tailgates. Arn will make sure there's plenty of Jameson, and Bloke cooks some mean food. Lion is above taking bribes to have posters banned, but maybe I didn't offer enough. I think I met NDRock for like 3 minutes before one game, can't remember. Irish2155 was supposed to hook up with us at Louisville last year, but he was too hammered to find us :laugh: The drunk texts during the game were a riot though.

SIAP, but is Lax’s ban a timeout or permanent? Should just be able to ban users from specific forums/threads. In terms of football/recruiting he’s one of the best here.
