It might be their last win this season...

I wonder who’s mom brought juice boxes and oranges for the team because this is a straight up child’s YMCA league team

If they need McNamara to be 27-36, 5 total TDs, and get 2/3 4th downs...to beat Rutgers by 6 in triple OT, they’re in trouble. Hope Edwards sees it.

Oh and Cade for all your heroics tonight, if you don’t think McCarthy has some insurances he will be given every opportunity to be the starting QB, then see you in the transfer portal by 2022.

Awful last series for Rutgers. But then again it’s Rutgers! Michigan fans screaming they have their first 1 game winning streak since 4 weeks ago.

I get a feeling Don Brown gets canned in an attempt to salvage Harbaugh. That defense is terrible.

Speaking of Harbaugh, he delivered Saturday's most quintessentially 2020 moment. After a day of dazzling highlights, a bleary-eyed nation turned its attention to Piscataway, New Jersey, for an absolute train wreck of a game between two 1-3 Big Ten teams. Just more than a year ago, back in more comprehensible times, Michigan beat Rutgers 52-0. On Saturday, things went a little differently, as the Wolverines fell behind early, benched their QB, blew an eight-point lead with less than a minute to play and missed a kick in OT before finally prevailing 48-42 in triple overtime.

They already are down 3 starting OL and both starting DEs.

Took a look at their roster from A to Z and think I found the problem...about 90% of their dudes are from the state of Michigan.

I kept reading that a loss to Rutgers would be the end for Harbaugh but I think a triple OT win might have been much worse.

Rutgers year by year since joining Big Ten, and paying an 11.5 million dollar exit fee to the Big East (American conference in 2013 after the basketball schools split and kept the original name) in 2014.

2014: 8-5 (3-5) W Michigan 26-24
2015: 4-8 (1-7) L Michigan 16-49
2016: 2-10 (0-9) L 0-78
2017: 4-8 (3-6) L 14-35
2018: 1-11 (0-9) L 7-42
2019: 2-10 (0-9) L 0-52
2020: 1-4 (1-4) Their win against Mich St (whose only win is against scUM) was their first conference win since beating Maryland 31-24 on 11/4/17.

In 7 years, Rutgers is 8-49 (14% win) in conference

Vs Michigan before last night, 1-5 and outscored 63-280 with 2 shut out losses

Michigan still needed:
-3 OTs
-A+ QB play for 2.5 quarters and OTs (his QBR was 6 points higher than Sam Howells season average)
-Rutgers to miss a game winning FG
-Kickoff return for TD
-7 less penalties for 60 less yards.
And still couldn’t cover the spread as they eked by

A loss either to a 0-5 Penn St team or Maryland plus a blow out loss to Ohio St will define this game more accurately than a gritty win and McNamara’s coming out party. Keep dancing in Piscataway NJ against a low level Group of 5 quality opponent because as we know, “winning is hard.”

Per an MGB poster, on his IG he said he has a big announcement on 12/16. I'm sure you'll start seeing crystal balls thrown his way before that if he's flipping.

A good friend of mine is a big MI guy. (Unfortunately) Follows the recruiting and insider stuff pretty closely. Said Worthy said he was just trolling and enjoying his chance to visit and it doesn't change anything. If it were a free official visit I might believe it, but to pay for it on your own knowing you're not gonna be able to get the normal game day visit experience kinda tells me otherwise.

Trolling? Mkay. Look at what a person DOES, not what they SAY...

He’s not a bright kid. Paying his own money to Bama would’ve been better spent on a reputable tattoo artist. That block M is horrible.

Michigan just probably blew out Sean Clifford’s knee with an extremely dirty play.

I don’t know who is at fault, but the announcing on the Michigan Penn State game sucks. Golic and the play by play constantly talking over each other. Then there are other times when there are periods of dead silence.

Would love to see PSU finish the season winless, but their season is already trashed. Mich could salvage something by wining here and against Maryland next week to finish .500 after they get bent by OSU.

They will be a combined 3-9 after this game. Both ranked preseason at #8 and #18. What a train wreck for both teams. I hope they both get a pass by their respective schools because of COVID.
