And to be clear, this is 0% a slight on Loy. He is a true professional and very good at his job. I'm just saying the industry as a whole has financial incentive for things to be as suspenseful and dramatic as possible.

Couple other nuggets from the NSD Eve Tom Loy tell-all:
- Loy thinks Keeley stays with ND if NIL isnt a thing. Elston leaving was a bigger issue than let on
- Hanafin got cold feet due to the number of quality WRs we were taking and went radio silent on the staff after telling Stuckey he was coming

That's interesting about Elston and Keeley. Makes sense though. Elston is a good dude.

If Hanafin is set on being a WR he probably made the right move for his football career (though all Clemson seems to do is throw swing passes and shit so maybe not). But he also could turn into a pretty good safety, and would've been nice insurance for Bowen. Of course then we probably don't go get Hillman.
