The new guy at BGI, Tyler Horka, was at Denton Guyer a couple weeks back to watch the 3 Guyer prospects in the '23 class that we have on the board. At that practice they did some 40 testing and clocking 10 yard splits. Between the 25 and 35 yard split Bowen was clocked at 0.88 seconds. He's got to be one of the top targets at S.

Gosh, that's a tough one. FWIW, I think it's unlikely they don't get at least 1 of the 3.

But, to answer the question, I'll say better chance it's 0-3 just because I'm not sure if how hard they are pushing for Yaites and/or the timing of locking up Arnold would be now. Not saying that they won't still get him. But, I think now that he's got some offers and I would imagine visits to take. That alone gives more time for any QB to jump in the boat.

Ok, I'll stop now but man I love how S/DB recruiting is trending but sadly it's just not happening soon enough, as far as needing 1 in '22 goes. But, if Devin Moore is willing to play S, maybe he's the day 1 dude. He's a special talent.

Devin Moore's ranking is the most head-scratching of all of our recruits. Even 247 who usually front runs rankings boosts still has him at 89. I think of him as a 92 at the least.

I know Freeman gets a lot of credit and rightfully so but this is an entire department that's moving this thing forward. The presence of Chad Bowden and Dre Brown plus Elston taking over the recruiting department has been a game changer. Bowden and Brown are essentially relationship managers as they reach and out talk to recruits daily. There is just so much more communication happening when it's Bowden, Mickens, and Freeman getting after a CB. Or, Bowden, Elston, Freeman for a DL. Or Brown, Taylor, and Rees for a RB. Throw in some periodic time with BK and this is how it's supposed to be done.
