Just read Loy's comments about his calls, yesterday, with ND and Oklahoma. This is some pathological liar type shit. This kid can get bent.
It is batshit crazy. I feel like I'm John Nash and Peyton, his mom, his dad, Thune, Loy, and Drumm are actually all the same person.

Why would Freeman waste anymore resources on this kid I wouldn’t. They probally spent 100,000 recruiting this kid

I want to find out why OK hat wasn't on the table yesterday, but now this?

Something pretty crazy must have changed - or he was OK all along and this the greatest PR troll attention shit I've ever seen.
I think it's obvious. It was Oregon, but he had the ND hat because of his so called commitment to ND. After the shenanigans yesterday, MF told him thanks but no thanks. Since the Oregon offer isn't what he expected, his only option now is OK. To avoid embarrassment, Bowen isn't going to tell everyone ND rescinded their offer.

You're also not the guy that can take a step back and look at the incredible improvement that MF has done in recruiting. NIL became a factor and he still improved the talent at ND. This is after an 8-4 season. You can be miserable and cry about the misses, but you can not deny that MF has been a significant improvement on Kelly in recruiting.
Curious how BK would've done w/recruiting this year, going 8-4, up against NIL. Obvs we'll never know but I'm pretty sure our ranking would be in the teens. Because that's where it was after better seasons without NIL.

I’m glad ND cut out. We can’t blame the staff for this at all. It would be tough to cheer for this kid after this clown show.

It would be like when ARod was a Yankee and I knew he was a cheating douche and I had to cheer for him to play well.

So I’m going to make a home made Detroit style pizza for dinner for the family. What’s everyone else getting down with tonight?

Instant pot honey chicken tonight. Gotta do something quick before swim lessons for the kids.

Got some fried chicken filets from Costco. Gonna try those out in the air fryer, put some mayo and pickle on top on a toasted bun, and see how they compare to Chick-fil-A.

The Costco organic nuggets are dead-on, so I have high hopes.

Sorry to do this to you but as a Red Sox fan:

The anguish of losing Arod at the 11th hour to the Yankees, followed by the incredible joy and schadenfreude of him swatting Bronson Arroyo's glove in that ALCS game and getting called out (which was the turning point on the way to that little 3-0 comeback and breaking the curse), could have parallels here. Maybe Bowen is de-cleated by Estime on his way to a game winning TD against OU in the playoffs next year. Or maybe I just wanted to relive 2004 a little bit.

The nuggets in the green bag? They taste just like Chick Fila if you do them in the fryer.

You know with us about to get nailed with snow in Indy that doesn’t sound like such a bad idea.
you know it’s going to peter out and we’re only going to wind up with like 4 inches of snow, right? All the hysteria about “horrible snow storms” is always comical…

The Brian Kelly Method would have been a dumpster fire this year and I doubt we would’ve had a class ranked in the top 15.

They were 46 points off #1 in 2023, 58 in 2022, 56 in 2021, 62 in 2020. The BCR ratio has also steadily improved.

There was a marketable improvement in talent acquired in 2023. They did not have a QB for the majority of the class. They have one in 2024.

The first full year of MF we saw a 12 point improvement in the talent level. With a QB actively recruiting for the 24 class we should see another improved class.

But does Kelly go 8-4?

If the narrative is Freeman is a better recruiter, fine. #9 is still #9. If the narrative is recruiting ratings score is higher, fine. But #9 is still #9. I think the question we need to ask if this recruiting class was the ceiling or the floor or something in between.

I think Freeman was getting the benefit of being a new coach while also being a good recruiter so the 8-4 and awful losses to Marshall and Stanford can be overlooked by some recruits and even some of the board. Eventually Freeman won’t be the shiny new toy. Eventually he will need to win some big games and win 10-11 games. The rich will continue to get richer. The good coaches even at good programs will start to see the $$ and bolt to lesser programs that offer an easier route to top 5 recruiting classes and top 5 programs. The landscape is changing. Just hope ND can keep up.
